Após 8 anos no apartamento, morando conforme o padrão entregue pela construtora, os proprietários resolveram fazer um projeto que refletisse a identidade deles. Desafio aceito! Foram 3 meses de projeto, 2 meses de orçamentos/planejamento e 4 meses de obra. Aproveitamos os móveis existentes, criamos outros necessários, aproveitamos o piso de madeira. Instalamos ar condicionado em todos os dormitórios e sala e forro de gesso somente nos ambientes necessários. Na sala invertemos o layout criando 3 ambientes. A sala de jantar ficou mais próxima à cozinha e recebeu a peça mais importante do projeto, solicitada pela cliente, um lustre de cristal. Um estar junto do cantinho do bar. E o home theater mais próximo à entrada dos quartos e próximo à varanda, onde ficou um cantinho para relaxar e ler, com uma rede e um painel verde com rega automatizada. Na cozinha de móveis da Elgin Cuisine, trocamos o piso e revestimos as paredes de fórmica. Na suíte do casal, colocamos forro de gesso com sanca e repaginamos as paredes com papel de parede branco, deixando o espaço clean e chique. Para o quarto do Mateus de 9 anos, utilizamos uma decoração que facilmente pudesse mudar na chegada da sua adolescência. Fã de Corinthians e de uma personalidade forte, solicitou que uma frase de uma música inspiradora fosse escrita na parede. O artista plástico Ronaldo Cazuza fez a arte a mão-livre. Os brinquedos ainda ficaram, mas as cores mais sóbrias da parede, mesa lateral, tapete e cortina deixam espaço para futura mutação menino-garoto. A cadeira amarela deixa o espaço mais descontraído. Todos os banheiros foram 100% repaginados, cada um com revestimentos que mais refletiam a personalidade de cada morador, já que cada um tem o seu privativo. A front on view of the master bathroom cabinet work. From here you can see the local symmetry of the vanities with semi-floating white quartz shelves for decor and towels on the right. At the toe kick of the cabinets is a heat register to take the edge off of cold feet on chilly mornings. Hardly visible below the custom-built casework housing the medicine cabinets are outlets for bathroom appliances. Hiding these elements helps maintain a modern and clean aesthetic.

Soothing Bathroom in Horsham, West Sussex This soothing bathroom renovation is the second renovation undertaken by designer George in this Horsham property, with a fantastic light and airy kitchen the other. The brief for this bathroom was much the same, again utilising a neutral theme and ensuring spaciousness throughout the room. With building work undertaken prior to this renovation taking place, a well-placed skylight gives plenty of light to the room in addition to several vibrant additions designer George has incorporated. Bathroom Furniture To achieve the natural and neutral element of the brief a combination of woodgrain furniture has been utilised from our British bathroom furniture supplier Mereway. The fitted nature of the furniture means that several units have been combined to fit this client’s requirements, with integrated sanitaryware featuring alongside drawer and deeper cupboard storage. A durable solid-surface has been opted for on top of this fitted storage, with a sit-on sink included as well. Additional tall storage features on the opposite side of the room in the same style, which includes exposed shelving for decorative or pertinent storage. The natural woodgrain furniture here is complemented by tile choices, tying in nicely with the pattern of border wall tiles. Chrome brassware from British supplier Vado is used throughout the room in the form of a basin tap, shower valves and handset, plus the nice inclusion of wall-mounted taps and a spout over the bath. Spacious bathing and showering facilities are included for soothing and relaxing use, and upon stepping out underfloor heating and warm-to-touch Karndean Flooring will add to the experience. To brighten the space a sizeable HiB Ambient mirror features above furniture, which when illuminated is an impressive spectacle. In addition, this mirror also possesses de-misting functionality for use at all times. KRS Have you ever dreamt about your pie in the sky home? Well I have! That is, our wonderful client’s dream home. It includes a place with 72-degree weather everyday, a wondrous view of a harbor, a walkable city & with clean, modern accommodations. And voilà… a penthouse flat in downtown San Diego by the bay. We stripped away the cheap 80’s rental finishes, opened things up to bring in the sunshine, added new flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, a fireplace refresh and modern furniture for a little slice of heaven and comfort. Don't tell anyone, but there’s even a Lazy Boy chair in there!
