We gave this rather dated farmhouse some dramatic upgrades that brought together the feminine with the masculine, combining rustic wood with softer elements. In terms of style her tastes leaned toward traditional and elegant and his toward the rustic and outdoorsy. The result was the perfect fit for this family of 4 plus 2 dogs and their very special farmhouse in Ipswich, MA. Character details create a visual statement, showcasing the melding of both rustic and traditional elements without too much formality. The new master suite is one of the most potent examples of the blending of styles. The bath, with white carrara honed marble countertops and backsplash, beaded wainscoting, matching pale green vanities with make-up table offset by the black center cabinet expand function of the space exquisitely while the salvaged rustic beams create an eye-catching contrast that picks up on the earthy tones of the wood. The luxurious walk-in shower drenched in white carrara floor and wall tile replaced the obsolete Jacuzzi tub. Wardrobe care and organization is a joy in the massive walk-in closet complete with custom gliding library ladder to access the additional storage above. The space serves double duty as a peaceful laundry room complete with roll-out ironing center. The cozy reading nook now graces the bay-window-with-a-view and storage abounds with a surplus of built-ins including bookcases and in-home entertainment center. You can’t help but feel pampered the moment you step into this ensuite. The pantry, with its painted barn door, slate floor, custom shelving and black walnut countertop provide much needed storage designed to fit the family’s needs precisely, including a pull out bin for dog food. During this phase of the project, the powder room was relocated and treated to a reclaimed wood vanity with reclaimed white oak countertop along with custom vessel soapstone sink and wide board paneling. Design elements effectively married rustic and traditional styles and the home now has the character to match the country setting and the improved layout and storage the family so desperately needed. Cette salle de douche et WC est la salle de bain d'invités d'un appartement situé place Victor Hugo à Paris. Un marbre Marquina noir a été utilisé pour l'ensemble de douche, la vasque et le coffrage des WC suspendus. Le sol est un carrelage façon parquet, avec une pose chevron pour faciliter l'entretien. Des éclairages LED ont été placés sous le banc et sous la vasque pour apporter de la profondeur à l'ensemble. Cette seconde salle de bain est conçue comme un prolongement de l’appartement. Comme la salle de bain principale, l'ensemble du mobilier est réalisé sur mesure en marbre. Le bac de douche a volontairement été surélevé pour créer une surépaisseur au sol et conserver les proportions visuelles du marbre. Une fente creusée sous la vasque fait office de porte serviette minimaliste et raffiné. La cuvette des toilettes a également été choisie noire afin d'être la plus discrète possible. The family bathroom was reconfigured to feature a walk in shower with crittall shower screen and a cast iron freestanding bath. The wall are tongue and groove panels that create a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere with a dramatic black ceiling. The vanity unit is a reclaimed antique find with a marble top.

The stunning feature wall at the bath really takes centre stage, while the walk in shower with bespoke dwarf and anthracite slate tray makes full use of the space available. The stunning 'Water Circle' taps and bath filler from Crosswater UK are a great feature that really brings out the client's unique vision and character for her new bathroom. The curved bespoke vanity unit adds another layer of luxury to the room, and the 'Dekton Laos' stone top and bath surround by Cosentino UK and Ireland compliment the combination of dark and light grey tiles perfectly. The recessed lighting tops it all off and really helps to give the room that hotel spa feel. Overall a perfect combination of practicality, luxury and contemporary trends, this bathroom is a real showstopper!

The master shower room is lined with ceramic tiles, carefully set-out and incorporating niches in the shower area. These provide useful storage and contribute towards the mood lighting in the space. A built-in medicine cabinet enables clutter to be kept out of the way; a feeling of spaciousness in this small room is enhanced by mounting the vanity cabinet and sanitaryware on the wall.
