The goal of this project was to upgrade the builder grade finishes and create an ergonomic space that had a contemporary feel. This bathroom transformed from a standard, builder grade bathroom to a contemporary urban oasis. This was one of my favorite projects, I know I say that about most of my projects but this one really took an amazing transformation. By removing the walls surrounding the shower and relocating the toilet it visually opened up the space. Creating a deeper shower allowed for the tub to be incorporated into the wet area. Adding a LED panel in the back of the shower gave the illusion of a depth and created a unique storage ledge. A custom vanity keeps a clean front with different storage options and linear limestone draws the eye towards the stacked stone accent wall. Using light flooring in the form of natural lime stone 12x24 tiles with a linear pattern, it really draws the eye down the length of the room which is what we needed. Then, breaking up the space a little with the stone pebble flooring in the shower, this client enjoyed his time living in Japan and wanted to incorporate some of the elements that he appreciated while living there. The dark stacked stone feature wall behind the tub is the perfect backdrop for the LED panel, giving the illusion of a window and also creates a cool storage shelf for the tub. A narrow, but tasteful, oval freestanding tub fit effortlessly in the back of the shower. With a sloped floor, ensuring no standing water either in the shower floor or behind the tub, every thought went into engineering this Atlanta bathroom to last the test of time. With now adequate space in the shower, there was space for adjacent shower heads controlled by Kohler digital valves. A hand wand was added for use and convenience of cleaning as well. On the vanity are semi-vessel sinks which give the appearance of vessel sinks, but with the added benefit of a deeper, rounded basin to avoid splashing. Wall mounted faucets add sophistication as well as less cleaning maintenance over time. The custom vanity is streamlined with drawers, doors and a pull out for a can or hamper. A wonderful project and equally wonderful client. I really enjoyed working with this client and the creative direction of this project. The second guest bathroom features black and white veined granite, white Calacatta Carrara marble, art deco inspired frosted glass sconces, and a large deco mirrors with custom walnut flat front cabinetry and a frameless glass shower with a teak bench.

Christine Lefebvre Design’s goal for this bathroom redesign was to create an elegant, streamlined, and hardworking space that would feel as though it had always existed in the home. Design services included two-dimensional design drawings (floor plans and elevations); material and fixture selection including lighting, plumbing, vanity, countertop, flooring, hardware, tile, and paint; tile installation design; and budgeting. This 55-square-foot space received a gut renovation, though locations of the plumbing fixtures and walls were left unchanged. A door that had previously separated the shower/toilet area from the vanity was removed, and the doorway was opened to the ceiling, to create better flow through the space and to make the room seem larger and more welcoming. Christine Lefebvre Design designed the tile layout with a mix of field tile sizes. Our installation incorporated tile accessories (robe hooks, towel bar ends, and switch plate cover), base moldings, and radius trim for a completely custom tile installation. Radius trim and specialty tile pieces also played their part in the design of a seamless shower niche. Multiple handrails were specified for the shower/toilet area to make the space more accessible. A TRAX shower rod was mounted to the ceiling, with custom liner and shower curtain made to reach from ceiling to floor. Christine Lefebvre Design changed the sink faucet from a standard deck-mount to a wall-mount, and incorporated it into an extra-high granite backsplash. This was done for aesthetic reasons and to help the homeowners keep clean the heavily-used sink. Granite for the countertop was fabricated from a remnant sourced from a local stoneyard. All plumbing fixtures are Kohler. The new flooring is gauged slate.

Beautiful roll-in handicap shower with large floor to ceiling tile, and small blue tile accents. This handicap shower was part of a home extension to create a in-law suite with handicap accessible on-suite.

This its a guest bathroom to savor your time in. The vast shower enclosure begs to be lingered within for hours! A pair of closets and element of a previous bathroom formed this large jack and jill bath. We featured a 3-dimensional wave wall tile at an oversize format of 13” x 40”. Brushed fantasy white stone with heavy grey veining, wraps the shower seating and countertop.

This stunning Modern Lux design remodel includes the primary (master) bathroom, bedroom, and closet. Our clients wanted to update their space to reflect their personal style. The large tile marble is carried out through the bathroom in the heated flooring and backsplash. The dark vanities and gold accents in the lighting, and fixtures throughout the space give an opulent feel. New hardwood floors were installed in the bedroom and custom closet. The space is just what our clients asked for bright, clean, sophisticated, modern, and luxurious!

The bathroom was transformed into a standout feature of the cottage. A custom curved floating mirror with backlighting was designed and created, showcasing unique wallpaper. Shower tile design catered to the client's love for ceramics and featured flowing patterns leading towards brass fixtures. A central focal point was the custom vanity, meticulously crafted with hand-laid wood and an attention-grabbing design. From removing windows, adding french and dutch doors, to adding a new closet with a sliding custom door. The wallpaper was the inspiration of the space with texture grass cloth and custom painting. The furniture and textures, as well as styling in the space was a great touch to finish off the design.
