A chorus of concrete, stone and wood strike a harmonious note in this modern master bath. The extra thick cream concrete countertop features an integrated sink which is serviced by brass plumbing mounted onto the tall backsplash. Above the faucet is a bronze light with frosted glass cylinders. Reflected in the expansive mirror is the nearby closet. The vanity is stained a harm honey and floats above the floor allowing for accent lighting to cast an ethereal glow underneath. Ivory walls and ceiling quietly set the stage, allowing the room’s natural elements to sing.

This bathroom design in Yardley, PA offers a soothing spa retreat, featuring warm colors, natural textures, and sleek lines. The DuraSupreme floating vanity cabinet with a Chroma door in a painted black finish is complemented by a Cambria Beaumont countertop and striking brass hardware. The color scheme is carried through in the Sigma Stixx single handled satin brass finish faucet, as well as the shower plumbing fixtures, towel bar, and robe hook. Two unique round mirrors hang above the vanity and a Toto Drake II toilet sits next to the vanity. The alcove shower design includes a Fleurco Horizon Matte Black shower door. We created a truly relaxing spa retreat with a teak floor and wall, textured pebble style backsplash, and soothing motion sensor lighting under the vanity.

This amazing condo remodel features everything from new Benjamin Moore paint to new hardwood floors and most things in between. The kitchen and guest bathroom both received a whole new facelift. In the kitchen the light blue gray flat panel cabinets bring a pop of color that meshes perfectly with the white backsplash and countertops. Gold fixtures and hardware are sprinkled about for the best amount of sparkle. With a new textured vanity and new tiles the guest bathroom is a dream. Porcelain floor tiles and ceramic wall tiles line this bathroom in a beautiful monochromatic color. A new gray vanity with double under-mount sinks was added to the master bathroom as well. All coming together to make this condo look amazing.

Soothing Steam Shower and Vanity Inner City Calgary

This bathroom was re-designed to create a separate water closet, large vanity with dual sinks and a custom shower. Glass, porcelain and pebble come together to create a soothing atmosphere for a steam shower after working out. The bench below the window is capped in the same quartz used in the vanity counter top. Body sprays and dual rain-head fixtures create a luxurious two-person shower space. We transformed a spare bedroom into a bright and contemporary resort-inspired master bath in Glover Park, DC. We layered a calming neutral palette with a variety of textures and natural elements – river rocks, wood, capiz shell –to create a space that’s simultaneously organic and modern. The airiness created by the tall ceiling height is balanced by the warmth of the wood and the clean simple lines used throughout the space. Guests of this modern mountain home are treated to high style in the guest bathroom. A large floating vanity, made of honey stained alder, is topped with off-white quartz countertops. The undermount sink is serviced by a gunmetal finished faucet from Watermark Designs. Soft lighting installed below the vanity provides an elegant accent, while creating the perfect night light for visitors. The textured floor tile in soft green is repeated in a smaller size in the shower. The shower’s feature wall in shades of rust and ivory coordinates with the crisp ivory walls and ceiling of this elegant space.

浴室リフォームのデザイン、レイアウト、費用

浴室リフォームの技法には大きく分けて「在来工法」と「ユニットバス (システムバス)」の2通りがあります。

在来工法：「在来工法」とは、壁、床、窓枠、浴槽などを実際の現場で左官、大工、タイル職人等が作り上げていく技法で、浴室の大きさや形に合わせて自由にレイアウトをデザインできたり、趣のあるタイルで壁を演出することができたりといった点が利点と言えます。昔ながらのこの技法には、費用が高い、工期が長い、年数が経つと水漏れの心配がある、などの注意点があります。
ユニットバス（システムバス）：比較的新しいこの技法は、予め工場で生産されたパーツ (壁、バスタブ、シャワーユニットなど) を現場で組み立てていく技法で、防水性、断熱性に優れ、工期を短縮できるだけでなく、費用も大幅に抑えることができます。在来工法と比べると、デザインやレイアウトの自由度が低い点が欠点としてあげられます。

浴室にプラスアルファでお風呂タイムをもっと楽しく

介護が必要な方には、浴室に浴槽手すりやシャワーチェア、すべり止めマットなどの安全グッズを使って、癒やしの時間を安全にゆっくりと楽しんでもらいましょう。浴室に床暖房を取り入れると、冬場のあのヒンヤリ感がなくなり、ヒートショックの防止に効果が期待できます。大粒のお湯が頭上から降り注ぐように全身を包み込むレインシャワー水栓は、効率的に身体を温めてくれます。また最近では、浴室テレビを装備して、あたたかいお湯に浸かりながらテレビ番組や映画を楽しむ方も増えています。ライフスタイルにあわせて、浴室をカスタマイズしてみてはいかがでしょうか？

ラクラク片付け、快適な浴室！

シャンプーやコンディショナーのボトルや、浴槽洗いのブラシは、ワイヤーラック、つっぱりコーナーラック、吸盤シェルフなど壁面収納グッズを活用して、浴室の使いやすい場所に設置しましょう。ボディスポンジなど、肌に触れるものはお掃除グッズから離れた場所に置き、しっかり水切りができるよう吸盤フックなどにかけるといいでしょう。また、浴室内には必要なアイテムだけをセレクトして置き、余分なモノは浴室外の脱衣所の棚に保管するなどの工夫も、お風呂場を清潔に保つコツです。風呂ふたも、フックやスタンド等を使って収納し、しっかり乾燥させれば、カビやぬめりの発生を防ぐことができます。

ホテルのようなバスルームをつくるコツ

ホテルライクなバスルームに誰しもが憧れたことがあるでしょう。すっきりとした収納、余計なものやプライベート感がない、トイレとバスが一緒の三点ユニットでも清潔感があるのがホテルのバスルームの特徴です。このようなシンプルな印象のバスルームにするコツは、収納をできるかぎり1カ所にまとめるということです。タオルや着替え、トイレットペーパーや洗剤など溢れがち (しかもバスルームに置きがち) な日用品のストックは、必要分だけをコンパクトに整理して、同素材や同系色の収納ボックスやラックにまとめることで、全体を統一感ある印象に見せます。ところで、このようなホテルライクなバスルームはアメリカのバスルームが元になっていますが、アメリカの Houzz サイトの特集記事 (Story) には、“Bathroom 1 1/2” や “Bathroom 3/4” などと表記されているものがあります。これは、バスルームを「バスタブ」、「シャワー」、「トイレ」、「洗面台」の4つ分けて、それぞれ 1/4 と考え、4つすべてある場合は ”Bathroom 1”、それに加えてトイレと洗面台がもう1カ所ずつある場合は “Bathroom 1 1/2”、シャワー、トイレ、洗面台だけでバスタブがない場合は “Bathroom 3/4” のように表現されます。
