We used Knotty Alder for four built-in bunk beds with stairs between that double as drawers. Fitting them along a wall next to a closet was a little tricky but Karl made it happen and the room is wonderful... definitely a favorite with everyone who sees it. He's a genius at using every available space to fit in extra storage. In our living room, he built a corner media cabinet with a TV lift so we could preserve our views out the windows. He always had a solution for every design dilemma I threw at him and it was great fun to collaborate with him.”
