“Colonial Marble has been around for many generations and they really know their stuff. John is a pleasure to work with. He was able to find me beautiful complementary marbles that worked well with my bathroom project. He provided a gorgeous white clean marble 3 inches thick for a floating bench. He matched it with a gorgeous Calacatta for my vanities. He provided great direction to the tile workers regarding sound support for the floating marble bench and how to avoid potential the marble from wicking into wall studs. Their pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend them”

“JJ Flooring did a great job on my bathroom project. They took great care with prep and waterproofing. I wanted a curbless shower and they did a great job mudding the floor, grading it, working with the plumber to install a linear drain. They were very fairly priced. They worked with some difficult materials ( large scale glass tilesa nd stainless trim pieces and a patterned floor that needed symmetry. I had one small problem, a rust stain developed in my grout line was bleeding into the stone tile. They came back and replaced the tile and looks perfect. My only concern was the pace of the project dragged on but the work was very high standards”

“Luis and team did a wonderful job on a tricky job and we could not be happier with the result. We recently purchased a condo that has a large kitchen with no backsplash so we wanted to add one. Because cabinets and counters were already in we had some limitation as to what could be used for the tile. We ended up choosing a herringbone pattern of 1x2 inch tiles that required many, many cuts. Although very tedious, Luis and team made every piece fit as it should and quickly completed the job on schedule and budget. I highly recommend U.S. Tile without hesitation based on our experience.”

“Eraldo is a consummate professional. He's careful, methodical, efficient, and exacting - yet somehow still quick. He spends the time to discuss the job beforehand to ensure your expectations are met, and works well to ensure they are. He's clean and neat with his work area, and other than the occasional buzz of the tile saw, you'd almost never know he was there. Very quiet, soft spoken, and polite - all around just a very nice person, and great to do business with. His pricing is very fair, and it's worth every penny. “Maureen at Bath and Co. is amazing! We remodeled a 3-family house and I needed tile for four bathrooms and three kitchens. I wanted the house to look classy and timeless, while staying on a budget, as this was a rental property. As you can imagine, I was very overwhelmed. I came with a few ideas, but really had no idea what I was doing. Maureen jumped in and was extremely helpful. She has spectacular design taste, assisted me in the entire process, and was available anytime I had any questions or needed to place another order. I can't say enough about how easy and great she was to work with, and how great the product was that I ordered.”

タイル貼りや石材を貼るのは、一見すると簡単そうに見えるかもしれませんが、きれいにきちんと貼るには熟練の技が必要です。タイル工事を自分で行う場合は、コテをはじめとする専用の工具・道具を使用した方が、総じてきれいな仕上がりにつながります。タイル切断の専用道具もあると便利です。

一般的な内装タイルの貼り方は、まず接着剤を塗り広げ、その上にタイルを乗せて圧着していき、最後に目地を塗りこんで完成です。外装タイルの場合は、下地の作成後に基準となるタイルを貼り、モルタル塗布後に実際にタイルを貼ったら、目地を詰めて完成です。
