“Our garden club hired General Masonry Inc.to replace a stone pillar that was leaning due to problems with the foundation. They took the pillar down, cleaned and re-used the stones, created a new foundation and rebuilt the pillar. It looks great. I was especially impressed with the company and how they worked with the village of Wilmette. Often, obtaining permits and follow up electrical work, which was the village's responsibility, takes time. General Masonry Inc. was on top of the communication among all the involved parties and our pillar had electricity within a few days of its completion. “I was referred to Mr. Kildiss a few years back and could not have more pleased. We had him put in a uni-lock brick patio in a spot in our back yard that received limited sunshine (due to a 100 year old maple tree). The end run: We turned a little used (useless?) part of our yard into a fully functional party area. Equally important to me: It rained virtually every day during construction and he still got the job done on time! Rain or Shine is a perfect name! I would highly recommend him to any one”
