“Shawn went above and beyond for us, and the work came out even better than we could have imagined. He came out within a few days of my call to assess the project and sent a proposal the next day. Crystal kept in touch to let us know exactly when the work would start. Shawn answered all our questions and went over the details with us before starting. After the work got underway, he checked with us to make sure everything looked the way we wanted. The worksite was left neat and clean every night and on completion of the job. “Everything was great! Before the process began, Tim sat down with my husband and I to discuss our needs and the look we were hoping for in the finished product. Tim's expertise and knowledge led us to our final decision to use buckskin stone for our project. It is a beautiful stone, and able to withstand the weight we need it to support, considering that the tall wall has our patio / deck situated above it. Tim arrived early (but not too early) each morning and worked long days in order to maximize his time and accomplish as much as he could each day. He was respectful, and kept the work area safe, especially when he left each evening. We have three small children, so that was very important to us. The demo was quick, and Tim disposed of the old timbers and other "junk" that was once part of our retaining walls and got to work leveling out the dirt and prepping for placement of the new blocks. Watching the walls come together was fun for us. It went much faster than we anticipated, and the project was ultimately completed in a couple of weeks. We went with a variation of stone sizes on our smaller (shorter), terraced walls in order to add some dimension and pizzazz to an otherwise boring wall. Tim took extra caution to ensure his safety and the safety of our family during the project. Especially when he left each day, and needed to leave large blocks or fill (gravel) in our street for use the following day. We had to remove a panel of our fence in order for the bobcat to fit through, but it was easy to re-attach when the project was completed. (Added bonus: our kids loved watching the tractor work). We are thrilled with the completed product! We have received compliments from family, friends, and complete strangers as they walk past our home. Ultimately those compliments are directed back to Colonial Stone. Their work is fantastic and well worth the investment. I cannot say enough great things about this business! I would trust them to take on any future project I may have, as well as refer them to my friends and family.”

“Hal Morris, owner and craftsman for Garden Structures & More, is surely one of the few remaining craftsman out there that stands behind his work and will undoubtedly give you more than what you are expecting. His detail, work ethic and abstinence from junk materials ultimately give his clients a very meaningful product in the end. I am a landscape designer and Hal has done great things not only for my clients, but I trust nobody else to build at my house (outdoor or indoor). You are not going to get work completeted from Hal like many of the McDonlad's-type order 'em up and send them out type contractors these days, but when you have waited your turn you will not be unhappy with Garden Sturcture's final product. “Patio Town was one of many places we visited when designing (and completing) our new firepit and paver area. The assortment is impressive and found their employees to be very helpful. We asked for ideas and were given several along with a mini demo on how to start thinking of designing ideas. The supplies we looked at (and bought) were block, the caps (for columns), retaining wall and class 5. We also picked up our block and had several employees helping us load it. I have nothing but positive things to say about the employees and company.”
