“I love my new tub and tile. I am likely to hire this company again for my Kitchen remodel after a few other higher priority jobs are done. Cemil and Henry took very good care of us and setting up the job was easy. A few notes about the kind of work asked for. We needed to replace tub, tile and fix plaster damage on the first floor that was directly under a hole in the old tub. Kitchen and Bath Shop solved these issues and the work was wonderful. The workers gave good expectations on when they would arrive on site. They were very respectful and friendly. They took very good care to protect my home from scuffs. There were maybe two small places where grout/plaster ended up in an unexpected place (near my bathroom doorknob and a small splat on my toilet bowl) however I probably just need a putty knife to sand down remove that. No remodel goes perfectly, there was a snafu with the supplier that ended up with us installing a different color accent tile than originally planned. There was also a delay in getting tile, but in the days of Covid, we were prepared for that. However, the company gave us a discount and did not charge for the plaster repair, which more than made up for the alteration. The more I look at the finished product, the more I am happier with the result. Work took seven days to complete, due to a delay in receiving tile. Cemil did mention that it could be up to two weeks to finish the job, so he set realistic expectations. The workers were very professional. And my family can shower like we live in a hotel.”

We found KSA kitchens both Carol and KJ to be very accomidating when I called or E mailed I always received a response in a very timley manner. The quality of the Kitchen cabinets were second to none and competitavely priced. When a problem arose it was resolved to my satisfaction immediately. “We have hired CJ and Donna Dorman to help plan and remodel our master bathroom. Our planning and selection process has nearly been completed with final details being arranged this week. Donna is cheerful, confident and wise is offering suggestions for cabinet design and layout and was helpful in selection ideas for the faucets, mirrors and lighting as well as suggestions for the "little things" like the towel racks and tp holder. She has made a trip out to the granite dealer to see our selection and then to bring a sample for us as well as possible porcelain color choices for this. CJ has been on the scene for measurements, suggestions as well as helping us identify a moisture issue elsewhere in the house... (that we hope is unrelated to this planned project!) We had our kitchen remodel done with Dorman a few years back and we were thrilled with the outcome. “We just completed having VA Renovations complete 3 projects in our home. A small one (replacing a toilet), a medium sized one (adding end panels to our kitchen cabinets) and a large one (a hall bathroom remodel.) I can honestly say, that the performance of the team was excellent on all three types of projects. One differentiator was that in our initial project planning session, Geoffrey listened to what we wanted done and provided excellent ideas that would help us get as close to what we wanted but stay within a reasonable budget. My eyes are always bigger than my budget on these projects. I was also very impressed to be asked what was most important to me in a contractor. Of course, all things are important but he was interested in knowing what I cared most about so that his team could be sure to deliver. I was given the opportunity to explain that our schedules are difficult between two jobs and caring for our disabled son and that communication about when people were coming was critical to us. They definitely delivered on good communication. One way they did this was by building a relationship between us and the foreman and using technology to keep communication open. There was an introductory phone call with the job foreman and the owner before we started and then a group text between Geoffrey, the owner, our foreman and us that we used throughout the project. These things are not about the quality of work but more the quality of the process which was terrific. All that said, the quality of the work was also top notch. The crew that showed up did an excellent job and was very flexible to ensure we got a great result. Once work was done, we had the opportunity to do a final list and the few items were addressed promptly to ensure we were completely happy with the work. We could not be happier with the work and will definitely be using VA Renovations on our next project.”
