We spent a fair amount of time together designing the yard with lighting, providing light where we needed it, and working within our budget. He came out at dusk, to check our system multiple times when it was completed, and made adjustments as necessary before giving me a bill. “I have worked with Cynthia Burke since the late 1990's on a large variety of high end custom homes. Cynthia provided the custom lighting design and all of the lighting plans and specs. The lighting was always a success and working with Cynthia was always easy and a pleasure. When I built my own home, I turned to Cynthia to do my lighting and have been enjoying it ever since. There is much more to lighting than just putting a few recessed cans in the ceiling and if you want to lighting magic, Cynthia is the person to create it.”

“After disappointing interactions at four local lighting stores, we found Illuminating Interiors and started working with them on whole house lighting, both interior and exterior. They gave us excellent in-store consultations and were very patient with us as we made up our minds. They were willing and able to illuminate every single fixture that we expressed interest in viewing in their store. They ordered light fixtures for us to take home on approval and took them back with no restocking fee if we did not like them. They had GREAT prices and deep expertise. We used various in-store consultants based upon our needs and their expertise. They do make free house visits but in our case we accomplished the job with pictures of our job and samples of our tile and granite. We recommend them for any sized job and any style of architecture/design. Our project is modern and they either had in-stock or obtained every single fixture that we desired. They also beat online prices on all fixtures. This lighting store is as good as it gets in San Diego County!”

“We ordered several MaxLite Plug N Play undercabinet LEDs, 3 dimmer switches, and 10 LED bulbs to replace halogen track light bulbs in our kitchen. We had a few issues with our orders, both preventable and unavoidable, but Environmental Lights was committed to working with us until we were completely satisfied. I'm realistic and know things can go wrong, so the best I hope for is that whomever I give my business to stands behind their products and their service if and when something doesn't go as it should --- which is exactly what EL did. “Paul was extremely knowledgeable and also has a good eye for design. We moved into a new (older home built in 1980) and there was not much built in lighting. My husband is visually impaired and has difficulty seeing in dim rooms. We are very please with his work. The lighting looks nice aesthetically and it is very functional. He also installed a ceiling fan for us in the bedroom. Paul called back to check on us several weeks later to see if there were questions or any problems with his work.”
