“Charli provided yet another great experience for our new home construction. She is an extremely talented and gifted individual. Charli was involved in every step of the way and the outcome was a definate success. She quickly picked up on my style preference, added her elegant touch and made our home BREATHTAKING. She created the house of our dreams!! Each room is its own masterpiece and the added "wow" lighting selection creates a lasting impression on anyone that enters our home. Let's not forget and worth noting is Charli's attention to detail, patience, responsiveness and overall pleasant personality. “Robin Hayward provided home decorating services. He visited my home for a preview. He made suggestions for draperies, rugs, paintings, dining table and chairs, side board, coffee and end tables, lamps, bedroom suite, lighting, mirrors, arm chairs with ottomans, sofa and electric fire place. I purchased all the above noted items from Hayward Interiors except for ceiling lights and mirrors. Hayward Interiors also made my draperies. Robin was at my home the day the day everything was delivered to oversea the placement of furniture, rugs, etc. and even rearranged existing paintings and hung new paintings. The service was professional, friendly, attentive and all in a timely manner.”

“Lisa was great to work with as she is professional, knowledgable and efficient. Lisa helped my husband and I redesign our master bathroom in our brand new home construction along with assisting with hardwood flooring selection, tile and back splash selection and paint colour for our home. This was all done from being in opposite ends of the country from Lisa and our new home! We are so happy with the final results that Lisa is now designing our basement for us!”

“Katrina did a virtual makeover of my dining room. Katrina is an excellent interior designer & very personable and pleasant. I received an online consultation with virtual pictures of the finished room she invisioned. She began by asking me questions to pinpoint my style and incorporated the pieces I already had and preferred to keep to stay on a budget. She suggested items that were easy to find and provided resources of the selected items so it made shopping a breeze. She gave me ideas to direct me, such as paint, then, I made the choices. A wonderful experience and a very happy customer! I continue to follow her blog & love her clean style and continued work!”

“My family and I built our 7000 sq ft dream home last year with very specific needs and wants in mind. But when it came time to tackle the interior of our project we felt a little overwhelmed. We did have lots of ideas but pulling them all together to make everything flow and source out projects seemed a little trickier. We contacted Sam Design and they were eager to help us pull everything together. They help pick out colour scheme throughout the house, added fun chaulkboard walls, and beautiful design features such as: 5 foot wide rustic barn doors, wooden beams to span accross our great room, 20 foot accent wall tiled in what looks like barn boards, guided us through all the lighting plan including fixtures and worked together with our kitchen contractor to achieve a dream kitchen. They also met with an independent contractor who built us a one of a kind island. It was done in concrete/wood and susan added unique piece of metal furniture from her store to really set it off. Their energy and enthusiasm at Sam Design kept us excited throughout this long process. I would highly recommend using Sam Design. Susan and her team were very professional and delivered us a one of a kind space we will be happy in for years to come.”

“I could not have completed my new house without Wanda! She was awesome! Respectful of my budget as well! She listened to my likes and went out and did the hard work of finding flooring counter tops and paint color choices for me and helped me narrow it down! She also helped me pick out faucets blinds and was very instrumental in putting it all together! She is very reasonably priced and so worth it!! Thanks again Wanda!”

インテリアデザイナーと建築士との違いは、建築基準法などの建築に関わる法令で定められた基準を守りながら建築の意匠設計を行うことができるのが建築士であるのに対し、各種法令に反しない範囲で建築の意匠設計の一部である“インテリアデザインのみ”を担当するのがインテリアデザイナーです。そのため、建築士の職能の一部を補助する役割としてインテリアデザイナーが位置づけられることもあります。大学や専門学校でデザインについて学んだ後、家具メーカーや建築会社などで実務経験を積むのが一般的で、インテリアデザイナーを名乗るのに特別な資格は特に必要ありませんが、実際の施工まで手がけられるよう、インテリア設計士資格や建築士免許を取得する人も多いです。
