“We’re currently working with Mel to renovate our old house. I find decision making exhausting at times, and with 3 small children I rarely get time to myself to either go shopping for inspiration or get peace in the internet to research ideas. She’s amazing. I vaguely tell her what we’re thinking and she comes back with options that were exactly the sort of thing we were hoping for but without doing the legwork ourselves! Her taste is unquestionable and there are times she’s quite rightly told me why I should tailor my ideas more to hers, but she’s tactful enough to recognise when something is important to me and I don’t want to compromise on a style idea. “I hired Mila to renovate and modernise my traditional Victorian flat in Edinburgh after seeing how she transformed two properties for a friend in London. Both properties were later sold and made fantastic profit. Mila listened to my ideas and took over the project. She completely renovated the bathroom, recycled my old Victorian free-standing bath and an old, aged mirror. All floors throughout the flat were sanded down, transforming the tired flat to an elegant home with a touch of modernity. The living room got a makeover as well as the dining area.
