“We have worked with Lily and her team for two homes and are so thankful for her work. Lily is excellent at communicating the process and timelines. She works collaboratively, is responsive and listens to all of my ideas, helping me weed out the not so great ideas. The end product and look of a space is always beautiful, practical and perfectly executed. She’s great at finding ways to utilize space efficiently and selecting beautiful fabrics and lighting. “I had a wonderful experience working with Liza Holder from Homegrown Decor. We built a house from the ground up, and we couldn't have done it without Liza's help! Her eye for detail yet ability to focus on the big picture - all while remaining calm and super practical - made the whole process fun and sanity-saving. From helping us pick out tile to appliances to paint colors and all our furnishings, she was able to convey our personal tastes so well. The best part? It truly looks like "our" home. She also worked within our budget, helped us repurpose old furniture and rugs, accessorize and even make our home kid- (we have four of them!) and dog-friendly. I highly recommend Liza. It was a pleasure! Friends walk in and the first thing they say is, "I love your house!"”

“I was looking to remodeled my bathroom and looking for a interior designer to assist me with the design of the bathroom. I hired DIH Design to help complete the task. The owner and designer was wonderful. She provided a design plan that was not only beautiful but also fit into my budget. As difficult arose related to our first contractor, Asisat was patient with us and even brought another contractor to make sure we complete the bathroom on time. She even rolled up her sleeves and helped paint just to save me money. I would definitely recommend DIH Design to anyone. I plan on remodeling my kitchen soon, I plan on hiring DH Design. Hire her, you won’t regret it.”

“I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

“I had a pending job opportunity in DC area and came across basement property that would be ready by the time I would need it (3 months later). I viewed property in construction phase and could not see it as a place I'd want to live, let alone be ready in three months. I was so wrong and so blown away! The tiny basement apartment looked roomy and had a zen flow post construction. Amazing design!”

“Beth was a gem to work with. She immediately grasped our aesthetic and made several spot-on suggestions during a short window of time when we had an opportunity to influence the final stages of a rebuild on a home we were in the process of purchasing. She helped us with colors, light fixtures, kitchen design, master bathroom design, and tile selection. Lucky for us, she also gently dissuaded us from a couple of ideas for which we hadn't considered the downsides. And finally, I would add that Beth has an artful, diplomatic communication style that was incredibly valuable to us -- we are a couple with lots of opinions, often differing. Beth was great at helping to inch us toward consensus! We can't wait for the builders to finish so that we can have her over for a celebratory glass of wine!”

“We hired Jefferson Street Designs to redesign bedrooms for our tweens. Rather than simply imposing her vision and ideas on the kids, Cindy took the time to get to know them. The final room designs truly reflected their individual personalities. Upon seeing her new room for the first time my daughter excitedly said, “Ms. Cindy, it’s like you went into my imagination and brought it to life in my room!” We are looking forward to working again with Jefferson Street Designs when we renovate our entire house early next year.”
