“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

The French door for the room blowed my mind. I loved the headboard and the 2 Mediterranean armchairs , the fan they chose , the rug over the wooden floor , the plants , the light and more. “I used Jen to help me accessorize my great room/entryway and some of my bedrooms. The great room had a large wall with shelving that I was struggling with but had in my mind what I wanted it to look like. Jen “nailed” it!! The wall of shelving looks exactly how I had pictured in my mind and is very balanced and unique and the entry is very inviting as you open the front door. Everything just flows beautifully. She was able to find very interesting accessories and really listened to my thoughts and style. The bedroom accessories are beautiful as well. She took on this project during Covid so some things became unavailable or took too long to receive and she quickly came up with other options for me to choose from. She always got back to me in a timely manner and always showed up to our appointments on time. She was great to work with and I’m extremely happy with the final results. “I spent 18 months five years ago working with Ms. Keiser to furnish my new SF home. I had decided to bring no furniture from my upper EastSide Manhattan apartment. I wanted a new approach, different from what my decorator had so splendidly done there. I had high expectations but she was young. “Jonelle Tannahill did a fabulous job of decorating my Christmas Tree in an Asian Theme. She concentrated on using the color red which is a sign of luck in the Asian culture. She carried this theme to other parts of the room including the fireplace hearth. It ended up looking extremely professional and I loved it. She made sure the ornaments I made were prominently displayed. I plan on using Impressions Redesign to decorate for me again December of 2014.”
