After using several other companies that fell short we we did a quick turn around and hired these guys wire our new house they laid out a wire map found stuff the other guy missed, did the job on short notice and when done it is spectacular. “Hiring Berman Home Systems was one of the smartest purchases we have ever made. Ever! We would hire them in a heartbeat again and we recommend them without any reservation whatsoever. Working hand-in-hand with our builder over the course of a 6-month renovation project, we found Berman’s home automation team to be easy to work with, always on top of their schedule and seamless with a builder they had never worked with before. They helped me decide what smart home technology was right for my summer house (which was built in the early 1900s), and took the time to understand what I was looking for before making recommendations. My primary goal was to be able to properly monitor and control the temperature, energy usage, and security of my house, because I only go there on weekends. We decided on a combination of Nest products (thermostats, cameras and smoke alarm) and an Arlo outdoor camera. They delivered my products to my summer house, installed them all and configured them to work together. They set up my mobile and desktop accounts, created alerts (emails sent to me when movement was detected) and showed me how to use all of the products, so I can properly manage my house during the week. “Tom wired our entire house, bought/installed the TVs, set up our Internet, and set up Sonos throughout the house and outside. He was such a pleasure to work with. Before meeting tom, we met with other vendors who all tried to "upsell" us on a fancy/complicated home automation systems. Tom never tried to do that. In fact, he encouraged us to keep things simple with good wi-fi and Sonos. We are really happy with the results. Tom is local and very easy to reach whenever there are issues (there haven't been many!). He also dealt with comcast for us, which was a huge plus. So to sum it up -- really nice guy, very honest, fair prices, and everything works. We would hire him again.”
