“My wife and I have used Brad at Custom Builders many times since 2016 when we purchased our home from them. We purchased our home while already under construction and had our first of many positive experiences with them finishing the construction to our tastes and design. Since 2016 we have had them do multiple big projects. A year after moving in, we had Brad and his team back to finish our basement where we added a full bath, office/bedroom with a built-in desk and walk in closet along with a large family room space aka man town. May 2022 was our most recent project, where we had them back both expand our deck and add a garage under the deck. We couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, all of our experiences were nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, Brad and his team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process. Based on their many years of experience and their knowledge of the business, Cross Tie Construction LLC served as an advocate and became an integral and collaborative member of the overall home design. They assisted in helping to establish a realistic budget for each project and then monitored the cost and scope through the design and construction process. They provided extremely generous allowances which allowed us to choose the high-end finishes we desired. Their attention to detail was exemplary and shows in the quality of their work. We continue to get compliments on our home all the time! Each subcontractor was professional, courteous and executed the work as outlined in the builder’s plan specifications and to building code. Because of that, our home was finished on time and within budget!”

“Hawthorn Builders are amazing. They expertly lead us through a massive, 10-month renovation and addition project... pretty much the only thing remaining intact of our old house was the living room floor! This was a complicated, difficult project where we were dealing with conservation land issues, septic issues, old-house-meets-new-house issues, and the myriad other issues one can expect during a large renovation/addition project. Hawthorn continually gave excellent advice, supported our decisions and worked hard to resolve each and every new challenge. They are extremely knowledgeable, keep an excellent team of subs at their fingertips and are professional in all aspects. And on top of all that, their work is outstanding. “For our project, my wife and I wanted to build a house that "fit in" on a street full of charming 19th century New England style homes. Eric Gilmore, president of Gilmore Building Company, a custom home builder in central MA, worked with us and his architect associates to develop a concept that combined our custom floor plan goals with traditional architecture using the Greek Revival style prevalent on the street to build a "new old home". To complete the look, Eric custom designed many of the exterior and interior trim and molding patterns himself. The exterior design turned out to be so authentic that at one point later in the construction phase, an acquaintance that didn't know we were doing this house project remarked to me as we drove past the construction site, "Aw, isn't it nice that someone is restoring that beautiful old house?" ... but it was this new house: goal exceeded! This was our first custom home, so we were looking for a low risk, low stress process. One option available from Gilmore Building Company that matched our needs was to start with a fixed cost design phase that delivers a firm final construction price, detailed drawings, and full part specifications before digging begins. Once all the design goals were realized and the plans were drawn up, construction went smoothly. Weekly on-site meetings helped review progress and answer the "this or that" questions that inevitably come up during the build of a custom home. We are now moved in and enjoying all the hard work that Eric and his team put in to the painstakingly designed, quality built, energy efficient home that has all the features we asked for -- and it fits right into the neighborhood.”

坪単価だけで新築にかかる費用を計算できる？


坪単価がわかれば、Cumberland, RIの家を建てるのにかかる大体の費用がわかると思うかもしれませんが、これは建物の本体価格を、想定される延床面積で割った数値でしかありません。実際は、その地域や敷地の条件などで異なる、別途工事費や諸費用がさらに上乗せさることになります。

あくまでその住宅のモデルプランにかかる費用であり、広告などに記載された坪単価から、これから建てる家の費用を正確に計算できるわけではないので注意してください。

坪単価だけでCumberland, RIの住宅メーカーを決めない
