“When we decided to have our kitchen and the floor in the adjacent dining room remodeled we wanted to support local businesses and find someone in town to do it. We're so glad we found STG Services. We filled out and submitted the Project Submission form on the STG website. Wayne sent us an email the same day and we set up an appointment for 8AM the following Monday morning. We were very impressed when the doorbell rang at 7:58AM on Monday morning. Wayne was quick, professional, and really seemed to know the business. We received 3 detailed estimates within a week and selected the option which included repairing the kitchen cabinets as needed, painting all doors and cabinets, installing new hardware, a new backsplash, new hardwood kitchen floor with heavy duty water based polyurethane and refinishing the dining room floor. We added staining the floor golden oak and painting a standing cabinet in the kitchen to the project and were satisfied with the added cost. Wayne and Justin were professional, capable and we appreciated the fact that they used plastic sheets to keep the dust to a minimum. They had a great attention to detail and were very thoughtful. “Kevin is extremely professional, hardworking and his work is impeccable. I hired him to do a kitchen renovation for me and am extremely happy with the results. The cabinet doors were kept but repainted, a hanging top cabinet was removed and replaced with a tall farmer’s pantry and rolling kitchen cart/island. New granite countertops were put in along with a tile backsplash, a new deep sink and faucet as well as new lighting to replace 80’s track lighting (and colorful undercabinet light strips too). The kitchen had not been renovated since the 80’s. Everything was kept on schedule and finished in a very quick 3 weeks for a total kitchen remodel. Kevin’s communication with me throughout the project was mostly by text and was very much appreciated. Kevin took the time to explain each phase in detail, as well as any additional costs. His work is top notch due to his perfectionism and he goes above and beyond to ensure his clients are extremely satisfied. In fact, he went above and beyond doing extra little service which I really appreciated. For example, he was extremely professional in that he would lay down a drop cloth to cover my floors each day, and when he worked in the garage he took the extra step to sweep all of the leaves out for me. He also added a brace to my leaning garage shelves which are made of plywood to shore them up- he knew it needed to be done because it was one of the things I mentioned wanting done in the future but was a Phase II project. Another thing I really recommend Kevin for is his consulting skills. During each phase he would brainstorm with me and make recommendations about what would look good and then we would discuss the budget. He has a great eye and many times I went with his recommendations. I love my new kitchen and highly recommend Kevin for any contracting job. In fact, I plan on discussing my next project with him soon- a bathroom reno!”
