“My husband and I had a home that was severely damaged by storm Sandy. The home was elevated and the interior, of course, was gutted on the first floor. We interviewed many contractors to complete the interior of our home, and a friend recommended we speak to Ed Gura of Sequoia Construction. After speaking to Ed, we realized that Sequoia was our best selection out of all the other contractors. Ed was professional, detailed in what he would provide, and his proposal quoted fair and what we thought reasonable pricing. Sequoia had all the appropriate insurances and licenses. The project started on time and Ed and his staff work diligently to completion. He kept us informed of each step and completed our project to our satisfaction. In addition he made great recommendations in our purchase of kitchen cabinets and granite and other items. It was a very trying time for us to get through, but Ed helped us through by being a great contractor. Can't say enough.”

“I had architect drawings for a 2 room blowout (Kitchen, family/fireplace room) and State-Wide bid on the job. Both Tony and Tom came by the house looked at the job had their subcontractors come through and presented a thorough bid. I had two other bids soon knocked out one and State Wide worked with me on all the details and won the contract. Their kitchen cabinet person and countertop suppliers were great and they also allowed me to get items over the internet which they installed (LED lighting, Appliances and faucets). They did NOT low ball me I had few if any additional items and no suprises. All upgrades I picked were priced fairly and payment was in an orderly fashion with payment pursuant with completion schedules. If you want a contractor that will work with you then these are the ones they had the same crew every day which made me and the wife feel very comfortable. On a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 9 (thats because no-one gets a ten)”

“Rich Hughes has done numerous jobs at our home: exterior siding of home and garage, total construction of screen porch, removal of extra interior stairways, Sheetrock, taping, spackling, installation of doors and windows, reinforcement of sagging beams and joists. He has always done excellent work, which is why he is our “go to” guy for any project that comes up. He pays great attention to detail to ensure that the character of the house is preserved. He is easy to work with, friendly, on time, dependable and reasonably priced. Would give him 10 stars if we could!”
