Ian Cook worked great with the Insurance Company and us. The project took almost 18 months with the rebuild of main house and a separate building with studio/carport. Ian was extremely organized his crew were attentive, timely and respectful. They understood when we had difficult days of recollection but kept us moving forward with decision making. “Steve and his crew at Made to Last Building Renovations did the installation of our commercial millwork in the Shaw Retail store in Victoria. The project was very complex containing wood columns, hanging wood bulkheads, oversize wood panels that needed to be scribed to drywall. Steve and his team had no difficulty with this install and executed it to a high level of quality. Communication was really good, they answer their phones when I need to get a hold of them and they are proactive on updating us on the status of the job. We are based out of Calgary AB, so it can be difficult to manage a job from out of town, Made to Last pretty well managed the entire install of the project. Billing and was fair and professionally done and there were no change order surprises. We would most certainly use Made to Last Building Renovations again in the future and are happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, honest, quality oriented contractor.”

“Heidi and Greg of GNB Builders were our general contractors (from site prep to final landscaping) for a large addition (designed by Dan McGrath http://danielmcgrath.ca/), to our existing small home. Heidi and Greg were extremely easy to work with, and responsive to our questions, concerns or suggestions. During our build, we were not able to be onsite very often, as we lived in a different province. Heidi and her assistant, Kelsey Ann were very good at communicating with us through the building process, which took 13 months. I would absolutely hire GNB again, if we were to build another house...but that is not in the books because we love the one they built for us!
