“Our house came with a pre-installed linear gas fireplace with no surround. For two years, I tried to convince myself that it was modern and that I would get used to it, but I never did. All the while, I had Studio Design Works' Malibu fireplace photo pinned to my inspiration board. I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago and called for a consultation.... BEST DECISION EVER! Wayne, the owner, responded quickly and came to discuss color and sizing options. Within days, he sent a CAD rendering along with the proposal for a custom mantel, surround, and hearth. Three weeks after accepting the estimate, Arturo and another installer arrived. They were incredibly careful and detail oriented, protecting our floors with paper and drop cloths. The amount of time Arturo spent getting every surface straight and level was heroic. The outcome was absolute perfection. My only regret...not calling Wayne two years earlier!!”

“Studio Design Works is awesome. As far as customer service goes, Haley was unbelievable to work with. VERY professional, very responsive, sweet and gave excellent customer service. Top of the line! We dealt with many different vendors/subs during our construction and she is at the top of the list! As far as product quality, excellent construction, lots of style and material choices, on time production, great price. Overall A+ on both quality and service. I would highly recommend Studio Design Works to anyone!”

“We had custom copper shrouds designed and installed. It really compliments our home. The first job went very smoothly and the pricing was more than fair so we had another 3 shrouds added to our winter home. I am satisfied with the quality and they have a huge selection. I would use American Chimney Shroud in the future. I am glad we can support a company based in the United States. I found this company through our contractor who uses them often. We would recommend them. Our neighbors ended up going with shrouds from here too since ours looked so good.”

You can find Firegear products in both residential and commercial applications, on grade in the landscape and 38 floors up in a chicago high rise. “My husband and I had been wanting to update our used brick fireplace and were referred to Luke by a friend. After a call to Luke he was able to be out to our house the following day at which point he provided us with an estimate and agreed to meet us at a stone and tile shop to help advise us with our selection. After choosing the tile, installation was scheduled for the next Saturday. Luke arrived exactly when he said he would. The installation itself was flawless and we couldn't be happier with the new look of our fireplace. Thank you Luke and Mike! You guys did an amazing job and we recommend you to our friends and viewers of this site.”
