“We interviewed 13 different contractors before hiring Eileen to remodel our house. She was initially working with an "interior designer" that we had previously retained, but it turned out that at best, she was an interior decorator. We were really trying to give the "designer" the benefit of the doubt because I had a prior relationship with her through my alumni association and we had become friends, but Eileen became concerned because her "design" ideas weren't going to work well for functional and aesthetic reasons. Eileen finally scheduled a meeting for all of us to attend, but the "designer" failed to show up. In any event, when we learned about the extent of the problems, we immediately terminated the "designer." It later came to light that the "designer" had also charged us inappropriately and had us purchase materials at the highest priced stores in order to increase the size of her fees. In any event, Eileen felt so sorry for us and she had been an interior designer before she became a licensed contractor. Eileen took over the role of designer and did not charge us for that additional role because she couldn't believe what we had paid already in that regard. In any event, Eileen and her crew were very diligent and met their time deadlines. With such a large job, it is not unusual for some problems to arise. To her credit, Eileen always took responsibility for any such issues. In fact, the roof leaked over a year after her roofer had done repairs in that area and Eileen made sure that the roof was fixed properly and that the damage caused by the leak was corrected to our satisfaction. We were so impressed with Eileen and liked working with her so much, that she became a close personal friend. We most recently saw her at our wedding on May 3rd, over three years after she remodeled our house.”

“I hired Tamir when I bought my first house. I'd seen the work he'd done for a few friends who recommended him highly. Tamir came for my home inspection (which was incredbily helpful to me as a first time buyer) and helped me plan out the changes. For my first project with him we completely remodeled my kitchen and bathroom (including moving/removing walls) along with painting and other smaller projects throughout the interior of the house. The kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. His crew did a great job. Tamir truly wants his client to be happy. If I'm not happy with how something turns out he will do whatever needs to be done to make me happy - whether it's coming back for touch ups, to replace some tile, or whatever I need. I have friends who've used other contractors and many say they just ask for money and don't care about making the client happy. Tamir was also great about sticking to my budget. Shortly after I moved in to my house a pipe burst in my front yard. I called Tamir at 5:30am on a Sunday with no idea what to do. He had someone at my house in 30 minutes. His response was amazing and is indicative of how he will always go above and beyond for his clients. My second major project with Tamir was redoing the front yard and exterior of my house and fixing a drainage issue under my back patio. We painted the exterior of the house, added a series of retaining walls to my hillside yard, replaced the front stone steps and landing. In the backyard we demoed out a large concrete patio to add drainage around my house so water stopped running under my house and eroding soil around the pylons. We also stuccoed the front and backyard retaining walls. His team regraded my hillside yard and worked with my landscape designer to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted it. They hung window boxes and wired my drip irrigation. His crew was available for what I needed. They worked hard and efficiently. Tamir has handled other projects for me as well. He replaced the roof on my house and added insulation. I'm about to start my next project with Tamir -the completion of my backyard. I'm looking forward to getting started. I recommend Tamir to friends and wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future.”

“We gutted a four unit apartment building. Lauri redesigned the entire building. front to back and top to bottom. All the interior details were amazing: crown, base boards, doors, windows, shelves, fire place, bathrooms, etc She was very responsive and had great ideas which we implemented. She worked well with the city, the contractor, the engineer,and the inspector as needed. She coordinated everything we needed and acted as our advocate. “If you're looking for someone to make the renovation process easier, I couldn't recommend Azul Interiors more highly. We first started working with Lisa when we were doing a light renovation on our former house as we prepped to put it on the market. We liked her so much, we included her in the search for our new house. Originally, we thought we wanted something move-in ready, even though it meant settling in some areas. However, with Lisa in our corner, we began to feel more confidant about expanding our search and getting something that needed more work. With her help and expertise, we began to understand how we could truly customize our new home in advance and *truly* get everything we wanted. “We needed someone to come in to correct a large two-story addition to our home that was built completely improperly by a previous contractor. The original work done was so bad that it had also affected major parts of the original home, created major water leakage, etc. Our home was in distress and my wife was pregnant with our second child. We were desperate and our backs were against the wall. The work done by Oz and his team was immaculate. Not only did he come in and give an incredibly fair and comprehensive quote (i.e. he did NOT take advantage of us financially from the beginning, and he could have), but he went over and above what he included in the quote, and just did what was necessary as he uncovered 'hidden issues' from the previous contractor, and he didn't charge us extra for them. When we asked for a change that we wanted to the scope, he always tried his utmost to do the best for us in terms of cost and time. This guy literally saved our butts when we needed someone the most, not to mention tens of thousands of dollars. Beyond all of that, the greatest compliment I can give him (and the reason anyone who is considering using him should do it rather than using anyone else), is this guy is honorable. Its in his character, and he puts that before money. He is a consummate professional with incredible knowledge and experience, and an absolutely impeccable conscience. In fact, when he first came onto the job site in our home, he refused to touch or do anything or accept any money from us for the work, until we had assured that there was no mold and everything was remediated completely, as he told us that 'he would never expose his guys to that danger, and it would be just as dangerous for us, especially for a pregnant woman'. When we were in a very tough situation, he stepped up and took ownership and control of the problems someone else had caused (a difficult and risky proposition), and he just fixed everything for us. I think you would be extremely hard-pressed to find any other contractor with the body of knowledge, experience and character as this man has, and I will never forget what he did for me and my family. Everyone knows that building/remodeling projects can be stressful and painful. Do your future self a favor and use him. When you look back at your project, you will be glad you did.”
