“So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“We hired Harding Construction & Sustainable Solutions to do an energy audit and upgrade our 100- year old historic, but non-insulated home. Although we love our home, it was too cold in the winter and too warm in the summer, and our utility bills were high. They upgraded our attic insulation, air sealed our attic, installed wall insulation, sealed our existing duct work, installed LowE insulation in our crawlspace, air sealed the old craftsman wood windows, and installed a high efficiency tankless water heater. “Tellus completed our kitchen remodel. The whole kitchen was gutted and everything except for the flooring was replaced. In addition, we removed a load-bearing wall to increase the space which required significant structural, plumbing, electrical and air duct work. We are very pleased with the remodeled kitchen! The team at Tellus was very professional and great to work with!! They provided us with an estimated daily schedule and timeline at the start of the project. They followed the schedule and were great communicating any required changes. If we had any problems or concerns, they were quick to correct the problem. Often times when you hire someone to do remodeling work, you rarely see them as they send their sub-contractors to finish the work. This is not the case with Tellus. He seemed genuinely interested in making our kitchen what we wanted and providing helpful advice on small touches that made it even better. His foreman, Juan, and the whole crew were great and in two weeks we had a completely new kitchen. The only delay was our fault as the backsplash tile got stuck in customs (between Canada and the US), but Golden Star was very accommodating, coming back as soon as we received the tile. All in all, very low hassle, excellent price, respectful crew and wonderful job done. Would recommend them to anyone in the LA area.”
