“This was our first visit and it was quite honestly faultless, Lucy was extremely friendly and informative regarding the product we were interested in and explained all the different options as well. After deciding on the piece we wanted the ordering process was easy and simple (very rare happening in our experience). We didn't even have to reach out to Lucy or her staff, they would provide constant updates of progress and delivery. The workmanship, purchasing process and delivery was Outstanding!!!! “My sister lives in Japan, however she purchased a home in Woodbury as a summer home for her and her family of 5 children. I was quite nervous when she tasked me with furnishing the house in preparation of their arrival. I was recommended by a friend to visit Peykar because they have a program which allows you to place a rug in the home as a trial to see if the rug fits the room and your style. I was pleased by the selection they had. I thought I was going to walk into a showroom of old style oriental rugs but they had many shapes, sizes, and materials to choose from. I dealt directly with the owner, Robert Hakimi. He was very patient and understanding and incredibly knowledgable. The carpet was delivered quickly and my sister loved the choices we made... except one. Peykar came and picked up the one rug she did not love and delivered a new one. Everyone is very happy.”
