S&G charges 1) 99 cents/square foot for installation; and 2) $75/room to move furniture. At Carpetland, I met Jeff Ernst, who asked me about pet and people traffic. I told him the cost of the ugly carpeting. While I didn't set a limit on cost, Jeff showed me better quality carpeting and padding that was moderately more than the ugly job. When he was measuring carpeting at the house, he was thorough in explaining the deficiencies of the ugly carpeting and padding. He lent me carpeting samples. Carpetland granted me a discount for the interior designer who referred me to Carpetland. Their installation staff was friendly about scheduling the job. Luis, the installer, worked hard solo since his assistant was sick. The completed installation was tidy with finished straight alignment throughout the house. When I need carpeting or flooring at my investment properties, I will hire Carpetland.”
