“I worked with American wood and Tile to refinish hardwood floors in a clients home recently. I was on a strict time frame to get it done while my clients were away on vacation and this company went out of their way to make it happen. As an Interior Designer I like to use eco friendly products that don't off gas and are not harmful to the envirnment. It makes it safer for the installer and the homeowner to breath in. David Brannan from American Wood and Tile took the time to learn about the products I specified use them. The end result was fantastic. Their attention to detail and prep work was outstanding. “Buying carpet and flooring can be a daunting decision. It's not something one does every day and there are so many options. Fortunately when we moved to Stamford in 2005 we found Classic Carpet. Jack and Dan Breiner and the team there have provided support, encouragement and great advice. Whether it's a hall runner, an area rug, wall-to-wall for a bedroom or (as we just did) replacing the wood floors in the entire house -- prices have been fair, the products excellent and they're always there to help in the unlikely event of a problem.
