“My friends recommended this company to me to use for cabinetry in the house in late 2020. We have been looking for a while for a reliable and quality driven company or an individual to do the job, however production terms were way too long or price was out of our range. With NYC Professional Millwork it was efficient communication to the point, straight forward answers with production terms within 3 to 4 weeks (we had to redo entire kitchen cabinetry) and price was affordable for the type of design we wanted. Couldn't believe how easy it was. I have sent them a design, they did shop drawings according to my design, I had to do some amendments (they did it with no charge). “First of all, let me say that Mike and Jenn are a class act! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about their craft, they are also incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. At our first meeting, Mike and Jenn visited our home to see the space and get a sense of what my husband and I were looking for. They respected our ideas for the project, but also made very worthwhile suggestions -- things I had not thought of but made perfect sense with regard to the design and use. Mike came back to us with several drawings and price points. He was very willing to work within our budget. Mike is incredibly skilled at his craft! You are hiring someone who can not only build anything, but can build it as an old world craftsman would. His finished products reflect his meticulous attention to detail and his incredible skill, which is virtually unheard of in this day and age. It's as if you bought the product at the finest furniture store, only better! I was immensely impressed with his craftsmanship and professionalism. Mike built a wall unit on a 15 foot wall in our living room. It included four sets of bottom cabinets with doors, topped with a 15 foot counter top, and floating shelves on the walls above. Mike worked with us very closely to achieve the exact stain color of the wood we desired. The finished piece exceeded all of our expectations...the mastery of his art, his attention to detail, the perfect color stain! We absolutely love what he build for us! I would hire Mike again in a second and would very highly recommend him. I hope I can find another project for him in my home in the not-too-distant future.”

“My wife and I engaged John to install a vast amount of cabinetry and crown molding (fabricated by others) when we renovated our NYC co-op over 6 months in 1999. The quality of his work and commitment to quality were extraordinary. It was pleasure working with him (I served as GC for the job). The attached photo illustrates how he scribed a very short return of the shoe molding running around the base of an inset mahogany bookshelf to the shoe molding abutting the room's baseboard. (Really, who does this?) More recently, he made for us and installed a beautiful cover for a through-wall HVAC unit. Again, an unvarying commitment to quality.
