“I hired Lucy to build a custom eat-in area within my kitchen. It was a tight space in an older home that had a number of significant issues. I am a detail-oriented and particular client; I wanted to create a space that matched my existing cabinets (installed in the 60s) and provided additional storage space. Even though space was tight, I wanted a place to put some of the larger, less used appliances. Lucy did an amazing job; the cabinet and matching bench is a stunning addition that really completes the overall look of my kitchen. In a space that used to only fit a small table and three chairs, there's now room to accomodate four people (I've had six kids at it!). The extra storage space is great; everything coordinates beautifully and it is a wonderful compliment to the rest of my home. She matched out all of the details; from the crown moulding, to the style of hinges, to the subtle cabinet mill work. My family really adores it; it is one of the favored spaces of my son.
