“Rubens is an artist by heart. It shows in the advise he gives and the subtle touches he applies in his work. He helped design our kitchen and made it an almost stress-less experience. The results speak for themselves. I highly recommend Rubens and his crew. They work hard, are honest and are just nice guys, what you see is what you get yet the kitchen will amaze you.. Our old kitchen was starting to fall apart -literally- and with Rubens we designed a whole new one. We communicated our budget and we found ways to stick with it. We designed a bar area that could sit up to 8 people and with 4 permanent seats...we moved closet space to be part for the bar to create a more open kitchen. We redid the backslash with glass tile. Our design philosophy was to keep it very light, so we used light grey almost off white closets without handles and a light grey marble counter top. Rubens built in a new microwave/oven combo. We were looking for a modern, sleek look and all more than surpassed our vision of what we could buy at such reasonable prices. Rick and his wife were very patient in showing us the pieces and delivery was prompt . We had a handyman install the shelf on tiled wall in bathroom and no problem with the installation. We plan on buying more floating shelves from Wood Design for the wall in our office/guest room.”
