“We are renovating an 1820s Maine farmhouse, and were so fortunate to have had the chance to work with Deborah on two whimsical projects. She is a true artist who loves her work, and is simply a joy to be near. The first project was a multi-hued pet shower in the back entry to our home from the attached New England barn. The soft and warm tones of these patchwork tiles is so calming and makes us smile. Deborah's sense of color and scale makes this space so comforting. Attached is a photo from right after installation and before plumbing fixtures (I will insert a finished update soon). The second project is a beautiful floral mosaic, installed as a kitchen stove backsplash. In the center of the tilework is the name of our farm, which we call the Jordan Hill Farm (named after the original homesteader Hill, and my wife's parents, the Jordans). We absolutely love this focal point, which unifies the color palette of our kitchen, draws on the berries surrounding us and the history preceding us, and literally personalizes our home by name. Deborah is an artist, and her tilework tells a story. We are so pleased with Deborah's Old World Tiles, which fit so easliy into our home. And we are very grateful for Deborah's patience and insights, and positive feelings from beginning to end. We will be starting a bathroom in a few months, and will definitely be seeking Deborah's talents once again.”
