“Do you wish to be involved and consulted fully in the creation of your own art work? If so, then Mark Jones should be one of your chosen artists. Mark interviewed me sensitively, to discover precise details of the story that I wanted included in my commissioned painting. The vibrant colours in the painting encapsulated the landscape of the Green Spain of my memories. In another commissioned work for me, Mark explored heraldic forms, meanings and colours to create a striking painting of a vintage bicycle. Do you want art work which can be enjoyed in a home and not just in a gallery? Mark uses strong colour and bold images to paint clear, lyrical stories. He has painted stories of Roman amphitheatres, of cafés in Tuscany, of cafes in Hampshire’s New Forest and of the simple pleasure of dog walking.”

“I found Aasiri’s painting on on etsy site and bought it even if it was smaller than I actually had planned yo buy. Aasiri was so kind, she made a small painting in similar style and gave it to me as a thank you present I absolutely love my paintings and even more so after my artist friend, Peter Andrew, built box frames for them. The colours are so vibrant, they make me happy watching the paintings and you find something new in them all the time. I can heartily recommend Aasiri!”

“I asked Maria if she could produce an enlarged version of a representation of the sun onto a 1m square canvas, to create a point of interest for the otherwise white walls and ceiling in my daughter's room. お部屋を飾るインテリアとなる作品を作るアーティストや工芸家には、次のような種類があります。
  • 画家：絵画制作の専門家。広義ではイラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーも含まれます。一般的に、画家が自らの創作意欲に基づいて自分の描きたいテーマで作品を仕上げて絵画を販売するのに比べ、イラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーはクライアントからの依頼に基づいて作品を作るところが大きな違いです。
  • 版画家：版画で作品を表現するアーティスト。版画は、木、金属、石などの面に像を描き、その上にインクなどを塗って紙に転写して絵画を作成する方法で、木版画、銅版画、リトグラフ（石版画）など色々な種類があります。
  • 工芸家：実用品に芸術的な手を加えた作品をつくる専門家。「クラフトデザイナー」とも呼ばれます。扱う素材により、木工工芸家、ガラス工芸家、染色工芸家などさまざまな種類があります。陶芸家や彫刻家も広義では工芸家と言えます。
  • 陶芸家：粘土を整形し窯で焼いて陶磁器などをつくる専門家。「陶工」とも呼ばれます。
  • 彫刻家：素材を彫り込んで立体作品、オブジェなどをつくる専門家。
