“i bought a large painting for my living room. 96x36" It arrived to me late and I got extremely nervous to be quite honest because I was told it normally ships within 1 business day. In any case, eventually the painting got to my house. It was well worth the wait. It is beautiful. Completely transformed my living room by adding beautiful vibrant colors. Also the packaging was really good. No damage or anything. I would definitely use Dora again even with the shipping delay. Liek I said, it was worth the wait. It is the nicest piece of art I ever owned. Im sure in the future when I order more artwork, it will ship faster.”

“I hired Mandy to do a photographic portrait of my family. I did a lot of searching for a photographer and found Mandy's work to much more than a photo but an image that captured a moment in time. Her photographs she did for me where more like pictures of art. She does outstanding work, was very open to what we were looking for in our photos and was a pleasure to work with. I just found out she does birthing photography and plan to use her to take photos of my wife at the different stages of her pregnancy and birth and will use her for my sons Bar mitzvah next year.”

お部屋を飾るインテリアとなる作品を作るアーティストや工芸家には、次のような種類があります。
  • 画家：絵画制作の専門家。広義ではイラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーも含まれます。一般的に、画家が自らの創作意欲に基づいて自分の描きたいテーマで作品を仕上げて絵画を販売するのに比べ、イラストレーターやグラフィックデザイナーはクライアントからの依頼に基づいて作品を作るところが大きな違いです。
  • 版画家：版画で作品を表現するアーティスト。版画は、木、金属、石などの面に像を描き、その上にインクなどを塗って紙に転写して絵画を作成する方法で、木版画、銅版画、リトグラフ（石版画）など色々な種類があります。
  • 工芸家：実用品に芸術的な手を加えた作品をつくる専門家。「クラフトデザイナー」とも呼ばれます。扱う素材により、木工工芸家、ガラス工芸家、染色工芸家などさまざまな種類があります。陶芸家や彫刻家も広義では工芸家と言えます。
  • 陶芸家：粘土を整形し窯で焼いて陶磁器などをつくる専門家。「陶工」とも呼ばれます。
  • 彫刻家：素材を彫り込んで立体作品、オブジェなどをつくる専門家。

アートの作家本人が作品を販売するケースもありますが、有名なアーティストになると、美術品を扱う専門家が仲介することがほとんどです。
  • 美術商：アーティストから作品を仕入れて販売する専門家。「アートディーラー」とも呼ばれます。
  • 画商：美術商の中でも、特に絵画を扱う専門家。作品を展示するスペースをもつ場合は、「画廊」や「ギャラリー」と呼ばれます。
  • 古美術商：美術商の中でも、特に古い時代の作品、いわゆる骨董品・アンティークを扱う専門家。

クリエーター本人が自分の作品を販売する場合は、特定商取引法に注意する必要があります。
