“I hired Detailed-Planning to produce plans for an extension involving creating a kitchen diner and a larger bedroom. From the beginning they were very professional and had very good ideas to compliment my own ideas. They took care of all the legalities and recommended builders etc. I was taken to see a previous project which is very unusual but extremely helpful. They have been exemplary in answering any questions and even met with my neighbours addressing their concerns and allaying any fears they had. “Studio Jayga Having met with a number of high end architects to do the plans for reconfiguring the ground floor of our house to create an open plan kitchen, garage conversion with utility room and downstairs cloakroom, we decided to go with Mahdi at Studio Jayga. From the very first meeting it was apparent to us that not only was he the best value for money but his eye for detail was second to none. Our project took a long time for completion (simply down to both my husband and I working), however Mahdi stayed with us for the duration- over a year! He was always at the end of the phone whenever we needed to discuss ideas- there are many times when we FaceTimed so that he could look at the project and offer solutions to problems that we couldn’t have overcome ourselves. He also regularly made on-site visits to ensure everything was going to plan. He even provided ideas for our bathroom restructure which wasn’t included in the job. Architects usually do the plans, take the fee and that is where it stops. Studio Jayga provided so much more than that. Mahdi was with us throughout, sourcing builders, materials and giving design ideas. I am very fussy and the level of detail and design ideas provided by Mahdi was faultless. There’s a saying that “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”, but with Mahdi and Studio Jayga this was not the case. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough- in fact I have recommended him to a number of friends and colleagues. If you are looking for the highest standard of drawings and design ideas, coupled with professionalism and someone that understands what you want in a build you won’t regret choosing Studio Jayga.”

Joe was personable in approach and made sure the design created was based on our needs. He added a lot of value by offering alternative designs and ways of thinking about using the space which we feel would not have been the case with other architects which we approached. This progressive nature and eye for detail went beyond just the plan designs throughout the build as Joe wanted to be involved throughout the project. The return visits and time spent with our builder meant that nothing was missed (and no shortcuts achieved!). We highly recommend, might be more than expensive than your average but the value is there.”
