I am absolutely ecstatic that I found Maureen, the Roman shades she made for my living room are stunning. I could not be more pleased with the work she did, the communication and the installation that her husband, Rich and her son did. Everything is exactly what I wanted, and I’m hoping to find more opportunities to call her this summer! Thank you Maureen for seeking out the fabric I shared with you and for finding it for me, it really pulls the whole room together!

I have worked with many professional seamstresses but Maureen and her team are the best in their field and I have never been unhappy with my many of her finished projects in my home! Her professional guidance, her quality and craftsmanship by far exceed any person that i had worked with or trusted in the past. My floor to ceiling drapes and window valances are amazing and am thrilled to look at each day I will continue to work with Maureen as i feel confident she will direct me as she has in the past for many new projects coming soon.

I relied on Maureen for her expertise when I decided I wanted new window treatments. I had an idea of what I was looking for but needed some guidance. She came to my home and we decided on the style of the treatments. I went to her workplace where there were many sample books to look through. Maureen was very professional and her work is beautiful. Her vast choices of material made for some hard thinking for the most perfect fit of all the lovely prints I looked at! My sister-in-law even had Maureen do a bench cushion for her. Maureen is a professional seamstress in every sense of the word. She is also a very nice person. With her skill and craftsmanship she fashioned floor to ceiling drapes for eight windows. She advised me on the appropriate length, which was a departure from my previous drapes, and she was right. They are beautiful, lined, heavy dramatic window treatments. I could not be happier. I also had her make decorative pillows to match the drapes and I am so pleased with them that I am having her make two or three more. I love the material, but what makes these pillows special is the size and the filling. She suggested that as well. She knows what she is doing and she is confident and skillful and quite frankly, more reasonable than I expected.

I hired Maureen for projects in a number of rooms last spring. Her creative ideas and suggestions really helped me to choose fabric and designs that beautifully complement my home. After meeting and going over many fabric options she created a beautiful roman shade for my son's nursery, taking the time to answer all my questions along the way. We hired the 'clever stitch' team to make roman shades for our dining room. The service was very prompt, extremely friendly and very professional. We got good advice on what materials and hardware was best and the finished product is excellent. We provided our own fabric but they provided the lining and everything else. We thought the service was on the expensive side but the quality was probably worth the cost in the end.

We recently had banquette cushions and backing made by Maureen. She has been, by far, the best we have ever worked with.......and she did a fabulous job! She's a great person and very knowledgeable. working with maureen at clever stitch was fantastic! she offered great suggestions for fabric and roman shades especially since i was dealing with a small space and i can never make a decision! she was great and had an extensive amount of fabric books very neatly organized. i love my shades and receive complements on them whenever someone enters the kitchen. my old house she did roman shades in an office and kitchen as well. very high quality and fit perfectly in space. i look forward to using Clever Stitch in the future and 100% recommend her!

I did a home renovation which included replacing all of the original windows in a 1950's built home. After a year and a half of construction, I reached out to Maureen at The Clever Stitch for advice on window treatments. Based on Maureen's personality and experience I knew she was someone I wanted to work with. The process is not easy, however, Maureen's knowledge about fabrics and experience - and patience - made for a great experience. The construction of the drapes is wonderful. Love Maureen's work! She is meticulous in every way, and when I have needed something in an emergency during a busy time for her, she delivered it to me at 11pm the night before my event. She has done window treatments in 8 rooms, seat/bench cushions, shower curtains, duvets, dust ruffles and pillows. Everything is beautiful.

Maureen has sewn, installed window treatments though out our home. Every window is different and challenging. Most of the windows are picture windows and some are odd shaped. We described what look we wanted and she took it from there. Nothing was difficult for her. Everything she made for us was done in a timely matter. Maureen is extremely professional and loves her work and it shows in every aspect. She also made pillows of all shapes and sizes for our bedrooms and family room. I highly recommend Maureen.
