Taaj design and build

We couldn't be happier with Avtar and his team at Taaj (Ricky, Mani ect). He did a complete back-to-brick renovation (which included 2x internal wall removal, chimney breast removal, 2x bathrooms, new underfloor heating, new staircase, new kitchen ect) in our three bed terraced house in Finchley and it took ten weeks. He gave us a reasonable quote that was in the ball park of other quotes we got. Amazingly to us, the cost didn't come to a penny more than quoted; in fact, he prompted us for extras (e.g an outside tap, outside, lights, coving ect) and when I asked him how much more it would cost I was simply told to get the materials and he would sort it. I particularly like the way Avtar splits the quote into milestones and you only pay once you are satisfied that that section of the project has been done (e.g completed upstairs bathroom). Avtar is knowledgeable and contactable 7 days a week up until late (my wife and I work long hours and would often contact him late at night and get immediate responses). He is enthusiastic about his projects and making sure his clients are happy with his teams work. The renovation was quick and finished to an extremely high standard. I found Taaj design and build from google at the last minute when our builder let us down saying that he can't start the project for the next 6 months. We already gave notice at our previous place and renting another place wasn't the option while paying the mortgage for the new place. After the brief phone call, Harpreet and Avtar were able to visit us the next day. Their quote was reasonable and they were able to start in one weeks time. It was a big relief and an additional bonus to have such a professional team to handle the project. They kept in communication with me through the whole process. They made sure that I was fully satisfied at every stage and provided top notch end results. I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for a home builder.

After a lot of searching, we approached Taaj design and build for our extension and renovation project in Gerrard's cross. From the initial consultation, they clearly laid out the steps from architectural designs through to build, navigating the building regs, planning and the tender process to give us a clear idea of the process, costs involved and timelines. They provided us with really creative designs and architectural ideas, while being mindful of ensuring that we were happy with the final decisions. The entire team was great at communication and easy to work with. It made sense to go with one team for all the work instead of hiring an architect, consultation company and a project manager separately. During the build, Avatar provided us great practical support, even about the decorative items which were not the part of their work. They would even reply outside working hours when needed. We also used their sister companies Taaj kitchens and MrWardrobe for the joinery work. I'm extremely pleased with their service and I'll highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to modernise their house with beautiful designs and minimal hassle. Great value for money.

Im a developer, and i have been working with Taaj for the last three years on 2 large developments. Great work ethics and quick turnaround times. They have handled the projects very well and delivered top-quality workmanship. They have taken care of party wall agreement, structural calculations, as well as the actual build and the interiors. Most of the 2nd fix suppliers were recommended by them as well. Overall, it's a great company to work with.

We are half way through our new build project and I can confirm that the team we are dealing with at Taaj are brilliant. From the initial quote to the project management, they have been proactive. Some of the positive points working with them will be - competitive prices, proper contract agreement in writing, payment divided into multiple milestones, each milestone payment to be released on completion of that particular milestone, friendly and hardworking staff, regular updates of the progress and deadlines are being met. Really pleased with the service and highly recommended.

Very pleased with the final Product and the service from Hardy Singh and his team at Taj Construction. We engaged them to build a TV unit and wall cabinet for our Living Room. From start to finish communication was frequent all the way. We were kept updated of timelines and no real delays encountered. Hardy made very good design recommendations and worked very patiently with us in understanding our requirements and coming up with the designs and picking the right colour shades to match with our living room. No customization was too hard for them. We are very pleased with the final product and would definitely use their services again! Highly recommend them if you are looking to build custom furniture. I Found Taaj Construction on Houzz and really liked their portfolio. They contacted me back within first hour of my inquiry and they have been very responsive with all my enquiries. On site visit they were able to come up with really creative ideas and they help us budgeting for home renovation. Once we finalised everything, they were able to start the work in 3 weeks time which I'm very thankful for. All the workers very skillful and friendly. Im really pleased with end results. TAAJ recently completed a domestic project for us, consisting of an extension, refurbishment and reprovision of services. Hardy went great lengths to phase completion in a way that allowed us effective use of completed elements. There were some delays attributable to accommodating glazing suppliers installation errors and last minute changes from our side. Standard of work was so good that we also introduced additional work. The project was completed within the revised budget and we are delighted with the final results. Their greatest attribute is their workforce and management. It was a pleasure sharing our lives with them over the 8 month construction period. Hardy's enduring good humour, impeccable manners and can do attitude means that we now regard him as a friend and have had no reservations in recommending him to other friends, family and anyone looking for an honest builder capable of completing projects to a highest standard. The contract was awarded by a competitive tender, we remain delighted with the outcome and are enjoying our much admired modernised and improved property.

Avi, Harpreet and their team did an amazing job with our new build home project. I found them through my colleague at work, who highly recommended them. We wanted to build our forever family home which we've been saving for years now and it was crucial to hire the right builder. After speaking to few companies we decided to go with Taaj for their knowledge, efficiency and confidence. We did face few issues along the way, partially due to covid and minimum face to face contact but we were able to sort them eventually. Harpreet was always a phone call/text away, ready to help without any fuss. They gave us diffrent options at every step (even though we were super indecisive at times), we actually ended up saving decent money following their expert advice on several areas. Their interior designer Annette was lovely too, she did an amazing job within the tight budget we had left in the end. I think they outdid themselves on our home build as quality or work is unmatchable. In my opinion, whole team deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommend them.

What an amazing company to work with. They took over the Job when we were let down by another builder at last minute. It was a horrible situation for us being waiting years for our dream home to come true. We were looking for another builder desperately, more careful this time. We had two bathrooms redone by Taaj, and we could not have been happier. The work involved moving walls, electric and plumbing and all the work went without a hitch. What fun this experience with Taaj Construction was! We ripped out all the old wallpapers, plasterboard, doors, windows and carpets, took out chimney breasts, changed all the radiators, bathrooms and new landscaping.
