On Jun 14, 2016 I was able to give one of the best anniversary gifts to my wife; an “end-of-workday” resting sunroom. This would not have been possible without the help and creativity of our interior designer, Patricia. I will be the first to admit that I was a little skeptical in getting an interior designer in the first place but my wife really wanted to hire someone to help us decorate our first home. I thought that only certain people could afford and consider using an interior designer. In addition, my first conversation with one left a bad taste in my mouth. The first words out of the person’s mouth were “you will need to put a deposit of $5000”. Luckily, my second phone call was to Patricia and she was down to earth and reasonable; she was a normal person. She listened and understood what we wanted in our home. For me in particular, she understood what I wanted to get for my wife as an anniversary gift. She went out of her way to obtain a cute rug, flowers, vase, decorative pillows and other accessories in a limited time to ensure that I could surprise my wife on our anniversary date. She even drove the rug right to my doorstep the morning of the event. It is a day I would never forget. Pros: listens, observant, and reasonable with cost. Cons: her services need to be reserved in advance because she is desirable. Please note that project cost includes other things that Patricia helped us with. She did an awesome job we continue to use her for other parts of our home.

As a sales consultant it has been a pleasure to work with Pat for over 3 years now. She has shown that she is the consummate professional when it comes to interior decorating and fulfilling her clients expectations. My experience with Pat Loria has been nothing short of excellent. She is highly professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent sense of style. My husband and I reached out to Loria Design Group for a consultation after purchasing a condo in Astoria. Pat made herself available for an immediate appointment to see the place and speak with us in person. Never having worked with an interior designer previously, we had a ton of questions which she thoroughly and patiently answered. After speaking, we decided to move forward with her space planning service which included several scaled floorplan layouts and furnishings to scale. She was able to provide layouts within 2 weeks and was receptive to all of our feedback and requests for revisions. She even went above and beyond to provide more layouts than originally contracted. Ultimately, we received a layout that we are very happy with and have direction on what size furniture we should look for. We were very satisfied with our experience and would recommend Loria Design Group to our friends.

I chose to work with Pat on a number of occasions. She is very down to earth, extremely talented and not to mention, fun to be with! I felt that she considered me as a partner in the process of designing my home and she always offered me options to choose from while guiding me towards the best solution. Pat Loria is a dedicated and passionate designer. We have had a terrific working relationship with Pat for many years. Her expertise has been invaluable to us in designing several rooms in our house. Pat has a unique way of really listening to you and making you feel comfortable. She LISTENS carefully and understands your individual style. She advises you and guides you and lets you make the choices. She has an incredible talent and sense of style regarding color, flow and comfort in a home. Although at first were were hesitant to work with a decorator we found that working with Pat was so easy and comfortable that we would no longer consider decorating without her. We definitely recommend her.

Working with Pat at the Loria Design Group has been a wonderful experience! She is a "real" person with a wonderful eye for color and layering patterns of different materials. She is a good listener, who takes my ideas and makes them better. She helps create the home YOU want to live in. The way she sees it, it is not her house, but your home, in your style, just completed to perfection. Pat shows you many options and lay outs for the room and works around existing pieces to make everything look spectacular. Pat Loria of LDG is an extremely talented and detail oriented design professional! I was so fortunate to work with Pat on the AHA showhouse, where she demonstrated great imagination in transforming a space which was very challenging! I would highly recommend her for any design project, she is a joy to work with!
