I had Adrian Jones design a custom built Timber Frame house starting from a sketch on a napkin to a beautiful home in Northern Colorado. Adrian and his team of craftsmen were top notch, easy and personal to work with and the results exceeding my expectations. After seven years of living in the home, I have had zero issues with the house. I would highly recommend Frameworks Timber.

We recently partnered with Frameworks on a few projects integrating custom metal pieces into their designs. They were detailed, easy to work with, and do beautiful work. It is obvious they go out of their way to get their clients exactly what they need. We would not hesitate to partner with them in the future.

I worked with Frameworks Timber on the design of a unique high-end garage in the mountains. The design challenges involved the incorporation of timber beams and trusses that reflected the architecture of the existing adjacent residence. The professionals at Frameworks Timber met with us early on during the design phase to coordinate our aesthetic intent with their processes of construction. Then they sent us accurate shop drawings for review to before starting the building process. The end result is a cohesive design that everyone is proud of. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Adrian and his team and look forward to working with them again soon!

When life gives you lemons... As any avid gardner or plant lover can tell you, it is hard to see your green friends perish. Such was the case for my wife and I in the winter of 2011. It had been a dry winter in Colorado and while sunshine is always welcome in our sunny state, its sad not to see the white powder that we natives are accustomed to seeing. With the ground exposed and dry, coupled with high wind storms that were blowing down power poles, it was just a matter of time. Our neighbor across the street called us on the phone, “Have you looked outside your window?” she asked, “you’re not going to believe this”. I looked and to my horrified surprise, there was one of our beloved blue spruce trees blown over and laying on our next door neighbors house. It was a bewildering site to see this 70 ft. giant not in in its upright position. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fall and amazingly, our neighbors house was not badly damaged. Once the shock passed, my wife and I gave considerable thought as to the fate of this fallen monument - but we had to act quickly. Our first thought was to reach out to our friend and owner of Frameworks Timber, Adrian Jones. It was the right decision because without hesitation, Adrian presented a most perfect solution. What better way to pay homage to our friend than with a free-standing timber frame style pergola where this blue giant once stood. My wife and I loved the idea of this sustainable and responsible solution and could not have been more pleased with the end result. We hired Frameworks Timber to help us fabricate and install a large shade structure for a project in Fort Collins. They were a great help during the design process from the very beginning. Dave and Adrian were very helpful throughout the entire process, but they really impressed during construction. These guys are one of the true craftsmen left. They were on time, on budget, and did not miss a detail. We have built many structures with several different contractors in the last 20 years, and there is no comparison.
