The work crew did an amazing job installing and painting the siding on our home. They did it in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job was done. They were professional and answered any questions we had. GREAT TEAM !!!

I had OF Shadyside siding put on my house. It looks beautiful. The workers were there for over nine hours a day until they completed the job. They always cleaned up the job site. I would hire them again. Financing was easy and available. My only regret is that there was not a few pieces of board left over..

New hardy board siding, soffits and fascia were added to the house as well as a new roof with architectural shingles. A new door was installed and framed in the back with an overhang constructed above it. All siding, soffits, fascia and trim were painted in the colors chosen. I admire the house daily, it is quite an improvement. The workers are highly skilled and diligent from the beginning to the end. The owners are very pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with as well. I highly recommend Everest Siding and Windows.

They were helpful getting me financed.
What was quoted is what I was billed . They did not try to push any extras on us. Extremely honest!!
Their workers were extremely friendly and helpful. Assisted my husband on taking down part of the covering without him asking.
They kept in contact with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
I would definitely recommend this company to do your siding.

Highly recommend! From start to finish they worked hard and expertly. Siding, roof, and built a shop in our backyard.

I hired Everest to replace all of the siding on my home and paint the house. I constantly inspected the work on a daily basis as well as it being checked by Richard the owner of Everest. If I found anything that I thought needed attention or fixed, there was zero push back from Richard, in fact they went above and beyond on fixing errors by the install crew and also worked with me on cost incurred due to fixes or changes. I can honestly say, that in terms of dealing with Everest was so easy and they were incredibly responsive, the quality of the work is superb. They were also very reasonable in regards to the cost. They were not the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive and at the end of the day it was a fair price for the work.. If you need siding work, HIRE THESE guys.

Don't get your hopes up or waste your time with Everest Richard's smooth talk will end in disappointment. If Richard would simply execute his promises as sold and give the same attention to his customers that he does his reviews and provenance (which anyone can get) Everest would be a fine company. Richard is cool as ice, presents well and comes off as very likable and seemingly genuine. He touts Everest's impeccable provenance, trust, devotion, guarantee of satisfaction and financial stability and $5M of completed work during the sales pitch. He then tries to turn on the pressure by softly offering an incentive to sign the deal quickly. When that tactic fails to close the deal, he lowers the price a few hundred dollars and lays on the guilt trip to make you feel like you are getting an amazing deal and preventing his family from eating even though he is "not the cheapest". After you sign, he makes one attempt to execute immediately which is incredibly too fast. Afterwards very few attempts to begin the project will be made. To be fair we didn't want the siding torn off during the crazy Texas rain the last couple of months so we delayed at least 2 times. Questions about expected execution, progress or timeline will be dodged or ignored. Over a month later without single contact he is ready to execute next day. Shows up with trailer half full of garbage, no permits or approvals from HOA. Richard then gets upset we are questioning trust and professionalism when we ask if permits were executed, what expected progress is and how work will be completed. A worker antagonizes the dog through the backdoor window on camera. Richard has the audaciousness to get feelings hurt and accuse of spying when we inform them there are security cameras watching and listening to everything. Suddenly we don't trust him or their professionalism enough to deserve his service because we are "spying" on them. Richard cancels job before even removing a single board and "tears up" contract. All this via text within 2-hour period. Not one single phone call attempted or meeting called. We request a cancellation of project document before end of day to ensure execution of contract is not attempted in future. As expected, Richard committed and failed to execute. Everest is just like every other contractor that promises the world just to get contract signed, then rewards you with poor execution. Sir Richard trust is earned not given. Honest action, faithful execution of agreements along with willingness to honestly answer questions to best of knowledge and ability in any given situation will earn trust. If there is truly nothing to hide as stated during sales pitch, how is our oversight of the progress on our property spying? Last time I checked it is our house and property which you are given the permission to be present and working on. We are not spying simply ensuring our largest investment and everything in it is safe. Customer Beware everything is not what it is on the surface and Everest's grass is no greener than their competition!

We do apologize that our course of action regarding your siding project upset you. We did not become the largest LP SmartSide remodeler in Texas and the most award-winning siding company by providing less than excellent services to our customers. We are very careful in selecting the highest quality crews and training them to become the highest trained in the industry. We work diligently and professionally to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied with our work; therefore, we take no down payments and ask for payment only at project completion and 100% customer satisfaction.
One of the requirements we have in exchange for providing the highest quality products on the market, most comprehensive and longest warranties in the industry and price guarantees, is to work only with customers who demonstrate that they value our expertise and trust us and our workers to perform services on their premises. We are sorry we could not do business together, but we truly think we are not the right company for you and this is why:
1. You wanted to take advantage of our finance options, but you didn’t want to give us the driver license, monthly mortgage payment amount, or social security number because you never heard of a financial institution that needs all that information.
2. We honored our promise to price match and now you are complaining about giving you the discount.
3. You complained about us attempting to do your project too fast. Then you delayed the start of the project multiple times over the course of a couple of months and now you are complaining about us having “very few attempts to begin the project.”
4. You complained the trailer was half full with garbage, but it only had the tools which the crew needed to do the work. We understand you could not see what’s in the trailer by only watching through your camera from work, but it would be respectful to have the facts straight before you accuse people of any wrong doing.
5. Crew members walking around the property antagonizing your dog- we can’t do our work without walking around the property- we apologize for the discomfort this may have caused your dog.
6. We take care of permits or HOA if our customers ask us to. It is not our responsibility, but we do it as a courtesy to our customers when they ask us and give us the HOA information.
7. Richard didn’t fail to give you answers to your questions; you just didn’t like his answers because he could not tell you exactly how many lengths of siding we will install every hour. As he told you, we can’t know what’s behind the siding before we take the old siding off your house. If we need to replace studs, do mold remediation, add insulation, we might just work on one wall all day. This is not a lab-controlled experiment, but a siding remodeling project on a home that is over 30 years old. Based on our experience, there will be plenty of issues to address in order to bring the home up to specs.
We are used to cameras because a lot of our customers have them on their property. But you wanting to watch and listen to everybody every minute of the day shows us you don't trust our expertise and the integrity of our people. We are a professional company and our crews are hardworking people who have earned numerous great reviews from customers over the years. We agreed to replace your siding, but if you think of us as untrustworthy people, we wanted to spare you the anguish this project would have created for you and walked away before we got a chance to even start. You have the right to choose who to do business with, but so do we.
As you know and we tell every customer, we stand behind the quality of our work and ask for no money until the work is finished and our customers are happy. However, based on the reasons above, you seem to be one of the few customers that cannot be made happy no matter how hard we try or do. So we just wanted to spare both you and us a lot of headaches for the next couple of weeks and withdrew our agreement.

Workers had to get on top of our carport to install second story siding. They used boards to walk on that had large nails in them. Our carport now has holes, gashes and deep dents all over. We had to get our cable company out to adjust our dish due to movement by workers. This cost 99.00. We had just prior had a new roof installed and Everest workers removed shingles for some reason on one area of the house. We had to buy shingles from our roofing company and wait a month for Everest to send someone out to re shingle. This may void our warranty with our roofing company. We were told to have all lighting ready for workers and they would install after siding was done. All but one was installed. When we finally got our electrician to install he had to rewire electrical for light due to Everest workers covering over existing electrical. Not only what it an added expense but now we have larger electrical wiring housing tuning over our new siding. This cost was an additional 400.00. When supervisor came out to address the carport issues she was picking up multiple nails and reprimanding the worker in from of us. We picked up nails ever day with their magnet tool that they would leave onsite. Some hard to get to siding was not installed. No reason given. The are installing today. It has been probably 6 weeks since work started. ALL of the shingles on our new roof were painted white around the whole perimeter of the house when the trim was painted. We had to get full gutters to cover instead of just guttering the front doorway area. This cost us an additional 1900.00. Siding was placed with very few nails/screws. We asked them to reinforce. They said it is done that way so the siding can breathe? They did not address the issue and proceeded to paint the siding. When we asked again for the reinforcement they stated that they would have to re caulk and they would only paint the screwed area which would reflect a darker coat paint on screwed areas only. We decided to leave as is afraid that the paint job would look bad only repainting some of the siding. I gave .5 stars because the siding is nice. It exactly what I wanted. I gave somewhat of a good rating on customer service because I feel it could have been worse. I have pictures, receipts and estimate for all described. Feel free to contact me to see or if you have any questions. We have been notified that Everest is no long using the crew that was used to do our project.

When all these happened, I understood your frustration and your need to share your experience with the world. However, I would have appreciated you being fair and painting the true picture, not only the parts that you thought would have the most negative impact.
Yes, the crew messed up a part of your carport, but we are all humans and make mistakes. However, because you didn’t allow us to repair it, we agreed to cover the expense for a brand new, complete carport installation with the company of your choice. We wanted to bring our electrician and take care of the electrical work, but you wanted your neighbor to do it. We agreed to pay for that as well (twice as much than it should have been). Somehow you didn’t mention any of these in your review. You also forgot to mention you still haven’t paid $1 yet for the new siding you like so much. So complaining about how much it costs you when you haven’t paid $1 is a little bit unfair, don’t you think?
We didn’t agree to cover the installation for the new gutters because you went ahead and added gutters without telling us there is an issue or giving us the opportunity to see it. You just sent us an invoice for over $1,700 and expected us to pay. Probably if we would have broken a piece of glass, you would have changed all the windows and send us the invoice for that as well. And again, at this point you still haven’t paid $1 towards the siding installation we performed.
Unfortunately, as with most things in life, it's a minority that spoils everything for the majority. As a company, we have never taken down payments from customers as we believe in fairness to our customers by providing quality service and products, but we expect in return actually being paid for the work we do. We had to contract a collection company to collect the money you owe us and it looks like they know you already because we are not the first company going through this with you. It's a shame that customers who have a history of not paying contractors for work spoil it for everyone else. We understand why other companies always ask for money upfront; it's to protect themselves from the people who never intend to pay in the first place.
We welcome both positive and negative reviews because we truly believe customers can learn from both. From the positive reviews potential customers learn how much we care for the work we do and how hard we work to do the best we can and that we always strive to offer the best home improvement experience to all. From the negative ones, they can learn that in spite of things going wrong sometimes- and they do go wrong occasionally in the complex construction world- we do everything we can to put it right. This is why we do not take any money upfront; it is our promise to our customers that we will do everything needed so that by the end of the project we do the best job possible.

Green Power 4 Texas

Our green building general contracting division GREEN POWER 4 TEXAS hired Everest Siding and Windows as a subcontractor recently to help upgrade a 120-acre ranch in Brenham, Texas for 30+ days of energy, water and food resiliency. The client saw the need after the Tax Day and Memorial Day floods.
Our focus was a 40'x60' barn built in 1979. Needed some love before it receives 50+ solar modules.
One Everest crew removed decayed siding, replaced dry rotted studs, reinforced structural roof members, wrapped the barn with water repellant fabric, and hung 75 sheets of Louisiana-Pacific structural 7/16" thick SmartSide siding.
And, the day Hurricane Harvey struck Texas, another crew would not give up and go home until new, heavy, rugged barn doors were secured to protect the family's belongings.
Because we have been so pleased with the responsiveness and accommodations by Everest's owners and crews, we are inviting Everest tomorrow to bid another residential siding and window project with us for a close family friend. Thanks, Everest.

Everest Siding and Windows did a great job in installing new siding and 22 windows on our house. Richard, the owner, explained everything very well on the 1st visit and we were sold very quickly as we were very comfortable with the company. Carlos and his crew did a excellent job and paid very good attention to detail. They cleaned up every day after working and never left a mess to deal with. The house looks great and would definitely recommend Richard to anyone looking for a 1st rate company for service and a job done right.
