Sam was very helpful from start to finish of our kitchen project. It was great to have someone locally since we were try to get everything to com together while living in Maryland

My new kitchen is almost complete and I love it! Sam helped with the design and also helped me to find an excellent contractor to complete the project. Several years ago I did a vanity and countertop for a bathroom and was very please with the results as well.

Working with Sam Gamblin at Ashland Lumber in choosing my kitchen cabinets and and counter tops was great! Sam provided me with excellent advice and feed back each time I stopped in, several times), to look at cabinets and counter top samples. He assured me that I was going through the right process before I finally made my choices. The best part of working with Sam was his ability to work with me and my contractor to figure the layout of the kitchen. It was all layed out in three dimensional drawings on paper so I could see exactly what it would look like before the contractor began any of the work. Several times before any work began or cabinets were ordered I was able to make some changes with Sam on paper to get exactly what I wanted! Sam visited my home a few times to work with my contractor to make sure all details And specifications were exact. Working with Sam made the process of building my kitchen exciting and stress free! We decided to remodel out kitchen after 32 years of heavy use. We couldn't afford to do much besides paint out the cabinets and replace the hardware. However, I insisted on a great counter-top. Sam readily helped with options, pricing, and advice. He was there for the measurements and final installation. The finished product is beautiful, and I greatly appreciate his help and tolerance (of my non-stop questions).

I used Sam Gamblin to manage the installation of my granite counter tops. Being a vacation home, there was some extra "challenges" for Sam as I was frequently unable to be at the location personally for many of the installation steps. Sam was extremely helpful, and was quick to answer any emails or phone calls. Sam was also very conscientious and would always remind me of any appointment and also call when he and/or the workers were in transit. Sam is also very knowledgeable and helpful and all regards of the projects. I would definitely recommend and use Sam again for any future projects I have.
