Suite à l’achat de leur appartement, mes clients souhaitaient rénover entièrement leur salle de bain datée et vétuste, afin de supprimer la baignoire et la remplacer par une douche à l’italienne. Afin de gagner un maximum d’espace dans cette petite pièce, nous avons en premier lieu créé une porte à galandage. Le dégagement créé dans le prolongement du mur nous a permis d’optimiser l’espace de douche en créant une niche pour les produits d’hygiène. Nous avons opté pour des pierres naturelles au mur, un beau travertin, ainsi que des galets plats sur le sol de la douche. Les chutes de ce poste ont permis de créer des étagères dans la douche, et le seuil de porte. Afin d’ajouter un maximum de lumière dans cette pièce aveugle, un carrelage imitation parquet gris clair a été posé au sol, des leds orientables ont été encastrées au plafond, et un grand miroir a été posé au-dessus du plan vasque. Concernant le mobilier, ici tout a été pensé en accord avec les valeurs responsables que nous avons partagé, les propriétaires ayant un goût particulier pour le mobilier chiné : - meuble chiné sur un site de revente entre particuliers - poignées de portes chinées - le miroir est un ancien miroir de psyché, trouvé en vide-grenier - la corbeille qui reçoit les produits est une ancienne corbeille de panier garni - le pot en grès appartenait aux grands-parents de la propriétaire et servait autrefois dans les campagnes à faire des terrines, aujourd’hui, elle reçoit (entre autre) les lingettes démaquillantes cousues main. - le pot tressé provient d’un magasin bio (ancien contenant -de sucre complet bio) - les éléments posés sur les étagères sont des cosmétiques bio ou fait maison dans des contenants récupérés

Este pequeño aseo de cortesía debía contrarestar con diversión lo que no tenía en proporciones. Jugamos con un papel negro de jungla para aportar profundidad en la parte alta, recurrimos al mayor contraste con el negro, que es el color amarillo, para marcar rotundamente el pequeño mueble del lavabo, y jugamos a llenar la parte baja con un mosaico de mármol natural blanco en espiga para que no quedase ninguna zona completamente llena. Aquí el Más es Más. Por supesto, la lámpara debía estar a la altura y este Camaleón de Seletti fue la elección perfecta. This small courtesy toilet was supposed to counteract with fun what it did not have in proportions. We played with a black jungle paper to provide depth in the upper part, we resorted to the greatest contrast with black, which is the yellow color, to emphatically mark the small vanity unit, and we played to fill the lower part with a marble mosaic natural white herringbone pattern so that no area was completely filled. Here More is More. Of course, the lamp had to be up to the task and this Chameleon by Seletti was the perfect choice.

An existing bathroom was updated with a new vanity + tapware, mirror, floor tiles and divine tropical palm-print wallpaper.

BEFORE PHOTO: We all have that one room in our home that we wish could be different. Maybe the room is too small, too dark, too something that's just not right. In my current home, it's the guest bathroom. It's small and shaped at an odd angle. You can get in there to do what you need to do, but there's nothing fun or relaxing about it. There's not much that can be done with this space, it's squeezed into an area where there's no room to expand the walls ,so there are serious limits to what can be done. The most apparent problem in this space is what greets you when you walk into it, which is the very old, outdated wallpaper. You know it's old when you see it, for several reasons, first, wallpaper has been out of style for over two decades and is only making a comeback now and second, it has the trademarked look of 90's wallpaper, which means, it's not just wallpaper, it also has a wallpaper border on top of the wallpaper. Salle de Douche Lin et Terracotta : La salle de douche est une escale en Asie, avec des tons de lin et de terracotta qui créent une ambiance chaleureuse et relaxante. La faïence affiche le motif emblématique de l'estampe japonaise de la vague d'Hokusai, ajoutant une dimension artistique et apaisante à la pièce. Chaque douche devient un moment de détente, évoquant la quiétude des sources thermales japonaises.
