Lee Kartis Home DesignBuilt in 1998, the 2,800 sq ft house was lacking the charm and amenities that the location justified. The idea was to give it a "Hawaiiana" plantation feel.
Exterior renovations include staining the tile roof and exposing the rafters by removing the stucco soffits and adding brackets.
Smooth stucco combined with wood siding, expanded rear Lanais, a sweeping spiral staircase, detailed columns, balustrade, all new doors, windows and shutters help achieve the desired effect.
On the pool level, reclaiming crawl space added 317 sq ft. for an additional bedroom suite, and a new pool bathroom was added.
On the main level vaulted ceilings opened up the great room, kitchen, and master suite. Two small bedrooms were combined into a fourth suite and an office was added. Traditional built-in cabinetry and moldings complete the look.

CSpace Architecture and Design Inc.The master bathroom has a frameless glass shower and a large spa whirlpool. The whirlpool and the shower are accentuated with glass mosaic tile.

Richard Morris Architecture, LLCThe original bathroom was very odd and consisted of a one piece fiberglass shower that shared space with the bedroom. The new bathroom was expanded with a 7 sq/ft addition and in fact the smallest addition I have ever done. We moved the original wall and created a new bathroom that included the stack washer dryer. We used a porcelain tile that mimics a tumbled marble. The vanity has flush face doors and drawers. The sink is a square vessel sitting on top of a quartz countertop. The metal finishes were done in satin nickel to give a more nostaglic feel.

CSpace Architecture and Design Inc.The master bathroom has two individual vanitoes with a dark espresso wood finish, quartz countertop, and rectangular pedestral sinks. The flooring is a carrara white marble, with the walls in a very light blue to contrast with the warm colors of the millwork.
