This large living and dining area is flooded with natural light and has gorgeous high ceilings and views of the garden beyond. The brief was to make it a comfortable yet chic space for relaxing and entertaining. We added pops of colour, textures and patterns to add interest into the space.

“I wanted to create subtle colouring so that the clients’ colourful art does not compete with the interior” says Griem. “The bespoke upholstered Cassina armchairs are in petrol blue velvet with ivory stitching. The gorgeously textured beige rug was commissioned from Jacaranda. The roman blinds have an elegant silver and grey finish. We went for an elevated casual vibe in this open concept living room. Casual sofas from Moss Studio, an oversized coffee table from Uttermost, swivel chairs and poufs from Bernhardt and draperies in Pindler fabric. All in soft neutrals with touches of blue.
