This whole home renovation allowed us the opportunity to completely enhance the exterior of the home with all new LP Smartside painted with Amherst Gray with trim to match the Quaker new bone white windows for a subtle contrast. You enter the home under a vaulted tongue and groove white washed ceiling facing an entry door surrounded by White brick. Once inside you’re encompassed by an abundance of natural light flooding in from across the living area from the 9’ triple door with transom windows above. As you make your way into the living area the ceiling opens up to a coffered ceiling which plays off of the 42” fireplace that is situated perpendicular to the dining area. The open layout provides a view into the kitchen as well as the sunroom with floor to ceiling windows boasting panoramic views of the lake. Looking back you see the elegant touches to the kitchen with Quartzite tops, all brass hardware to match the lighting throughout, and a large 4’x8’ Santorini Blue painted island with turned legs to provide a note of color. The owner’s suite is situated separate to one side of the home allowing a quiet retreat for the homeowners. Details such as the nickel gap accented bed wall, brass wall mounted bed-side lamps, and a large triple window complete the bedroom. Access to the study through the master bedroom further enhances the idea of a private space for the owners to work. It’s bathroom features clean white vanities with Quartz counter tops, brass hardware and fixtures, an obscure glass enclosed shower with natural light, and a separate toilet room. This elegant and timeless approach to this 5,000SF three level addition and renovation allowed the owner to add multiple sleeping and entertainment areas while rejuvenating a beautiful lake front lot with subtle contrasting colors.

This open kitchen plan replaced a seldom used living room. Perimeter cabinets are Dura Supreme, Hudson door in Linen White, while the island is a custom color Sherwin Williams 9139 "Debonair". Budget restrains prohibited the use of solid surface, so designer Michele Harder selected WilsonArt "Spring Carnival" (#1876-35) for the post form counter-top which simulates a granite look. The Seamless Quartz Sink is Karran # Q-340 in a concrete color. The island countertop is Formica :Weathered Beamwood" #6410-NG. Homecrest Oasis Laminate in color Rhapsody for flooring throughtout the entire main level (including hallway leading to the bedrooms and into the family room).This is a seriously scratch resistance, water proof flooring which is perfect since there is a pool in the backyard.The pantry took some closet space from a bedroom and is covered by a custom designed sliding barn door. Laminate and Formica counter tops simulate a granite look while a quartz under-mount sink makes clean up a breeze. The custom colored island is flanked by white linen cabinetry. Live edge floating shelves add a touch of rustic charm.

With the focus on lifestyle and entertaining, the new Hamptons inspired kitchen has a large island with ample storage, a new butlers pantry with a separate sink, filled with drawers and shelving up to the ceiling. As a result, the kitchen presents tidy, hiding the dirty dishes in the pantry away from visitors

Every detail of this kitchen has been curated with love. Our beautiful Medallion Cabinetry is definitely a major player in the beauty of this space. The client was recreating a space she loved from a prior house, while we helped her add touches that truly make this a dream kitchen. The island is so spacious that she will never want for workspace, or for jaw-drops from guests that enter the space. The brightness of this kitchen comes from several luminous sources...the globe pendant lights, the under-cabinet LEDs, the beautiful picture windows, and from the in-cabinet lighting in the upper cabinets. This project is the brain-child of the homeowner, and our design team worked with her to make her dreams a reality. Our Medallion brand cabinets are truly the backbone of this kitchen, and bring her personal touches together beautifully. The T-shaped island marries the traditional island "workspace" with a dining area for the whole family, with no wasted space.
