Goals The clients main goal was more space. They desired a new kitchen that was large enough to fit their growing family and to update other rooms in their home to fit their contemporary style. Our Design Solution In order to enlarge the kitchen, we had to build a new addition. The original kitchen was just too small and had no where to expand to within the house. With moving the entire kitchen into the addition, there was now room to create a mudroom and a new bathroom. Above the new kitchen, we gave the client a new master suite. This 1970's home had a complete makeover! The goal of the project was to 1) open up the main floor living and gathering spaces and 2) create a more beautiful and functional kitchen. We took out the dividing wall between the front living room and the kitchen and dining room to create one large gathering space, perfect for a young family and for entertaining friends! Onto the exciting part - the kitchen! The existing kitchen was U-Shaped with not much room to have more than 1 person working at a time. We kept the appliances in the same locations, but really expanded the amount of workspace and cabinet storage by taking out the peninsula and adding a large island. The cabinetry, from Holiday Kitchens, is a blue-gray color on the lowers and classic white on the uppers. The countertops are walnut butcherblock on the perimeter and a marble looking quartz on the island. The backsplash, one of our favorites, is a diamond shaped mosaic in a rhombus pattern, which adds just the right amount of texture without overpowering all the gorgeous details of the cabinets and countertops. The hardware is a champagne bronze - one thing we love to do is mix and match our metals! The faucet is from Kohler and is in Matte Black, the sink is from Blanco and is white. The flooring is a luxury vinyl plank with a warm wood tone - which helps bring all the elements of the kitchen together we think! Overall - this is one of our favorite kitchens to date - so many beautiful details on their own, but put together create this gorgeous kitchen!

A realisation of our bespoke freestanding kitchen kitchen concept in beautiful sustainable British Ash. So many bespoke features, clever storage solutions and custom designed products. A huge deli style bespoke shelving unit with solid Ash ladder and integrated rail design marks the entrance to the kitchen wrapping around some beautiful reeded glass wall units and our freestanding kitchen units. Features included bespoke veg bin, occasional table and a huge bespoke larder unit with spice racks

This house was 45 years old and the most recent kitchen update was past its due date. It was also time to update an adjacent family room, eating area and a nearby bar. The idea was to refresh the space with a transitional design that leaned classic – something that would be elegant and comfortable. Something that would welcome and enhance natural light. The objectives were: -Keep things simple – classic, comfortable and easy to keep clean -Cohesive design between the kitchen, family room, eating area and bar The new bar area was reimagined to match the contrasting island dark wood finish to complement the spaces overall bright white feel. They stayed consistent with the counter being a dark wood top as well, which allows the eye to be drawn to the neutral colored subway tile, and the glass front cabinets that showcase drink ware. They also omitted the sink in this that was not being used for extra counter space. They dedicate this space for relaxing evenings with wine and friends.

This compact and very functional Butler's pantry is a great space with plenty of cabinets for storage and a gorgeous reclaimed wood countertop for ample workspace. The glass fronted cabinets make it easy to find things quickly. Beautiful hardwood flooring completes the space.

C’est une pièce avec une très belle hauteur sous plafond et une grande baie vitrée donnant sur le jardin. Le challenge était de respecter le style de la maison (campagne chic), tout en apportant de la luminosité au fond de la pièce et en utilisant la hauteur sous plafond.
