Having designed the kitchen in their previous home (see Davis Rockwell Kitchen) - which they loved for many years – this couple came back to us with one main request, to design a similar but more upscale interpretation for their new home. As with the previous kitchen, the clients wanted an open space for entertaining and dedicated areas to showcase their large collection of art pieces. The existing builder grade kitchen didn’t fit their personal style or wish list. Knowing that the client’s intention was for this house to be their forever home, it was vital to give them a design that worked well now as well as for future needs. Knowing they love to entertain, we recommended a 5’ Galley Workstation for its flexibility to serve a variety of tasks from everyday wash station to party central with just a quick change of accessories. Located in the heart of the home, the kitchen is visible from all angles and needed to present a clean, flush look with the cabinets and appliances. Special features include LED strip lighting in the upper niche cabinets to highlight special art pieces. Beautiful walnut panels wrap the cabinetry and serve a dual purpose around the fold-up wall cabinets by the cooktop; they provide just enough depth for custom spice shelves. Warm and inviting transitional open kitchen with a large island with seating. A fantastic showcase of a large and functional kitchen with ample workspace, storage and a large island for entertaining or prep work.

Remodel of kitchen. Removed a wall to increase the kitchen footprint, opened up to dining room and great room. Improved the functionality of the space and updated the cabinetry.

I met the home owner and suggested an extensive remodel to this couple's upscale home. Transitional shaker kitchen with Sequel Quartz on the island top and Calcutta quartz on the perimeter tops. We added some accessories in this kitchen like the spice pullout and a trash recycle topped off with stacked cabinetry to the ceiling with glass uppers with lighting. The appliances are black stainless for a rich look. Center stage are pendant lights that are black and brass combo. The La Cantina door that we added to the dining area brings the outside in during the entire year. A classic beauty.

This beautiful kitchen is brought to life through simple modifications to its layout. To optimize the space, we relocated kitchen appliances, raised wall cabinets to the ceiling, and removed kitchen soffits.

This award-winning classic + transitional + retro kitchen remodel was part of multi-room home remodeling and interior design project. The clients wanted to include some mid-century modern elements, but didn't want the room to feel like a capsule space. We used classic slab door style kitchen cabinets in a cherry finish and a muted aqua color palette in the finishes and custom elements. Another goal was to create a space that would easily convert from small family meals to large holiday gatherings. To accommodate this request, we added a custom booth on the back of the peninsula, a large bar/buffet, a vintage teak table with butterfly leaves, and extra seating bench. To top it off, we added the glamorous gold leaf oversized pendant, which steals the show without being out of proportion to the space.
