Learn more about our showroom and kitchen and bath design: Due to a tragic house fire, our client was faced with a new slate. A blend of contemporary and mid-century modern was the goal for the new kitchen design. A few requests the client had were double ovens, and a serving and clean up area along with a space for cooking and baking. For cabinetry, an antique white matte style was chosen for the perimeter and paired with a walnut finish custom door cabinet with an eased edge and a morocco and black glaze for the island and serving space. Contrasting the white cabinetry with the floating shelves and dimensional porcelain bar backsplash kept the space fresh and contemporary while the function of the space overall became the star and executed mid-century modern beautifully. Accessories in the kitchen are toe kick drawers, utensil dividers, a spice pantry, glass cabinet doors, double trash bin and tilt up hinge wall cabinets. We opened up the wall to create an open space to the great room. It was tricky because all of the support and to upstairs bathrooms were in the columns. We skinned the wall to the pantry in the corner to look like cabinetry and flow together. We put flooring up on the ceiling where the hood comes out of to keep it more casual.

A busy family of 5 needed a new space for entertaining. The layout proved functional, and with an easy switch of the range and seating areas, a kitchen for entertaining was made. A built in 48" range with a griddle top allows for plenty of space for cooking in the large 10' x 5' island, topped with Taj Mahal Quartzite. Behind the range are fridge and freezer towers, flanked by mirrored pantries that hold everything from spices to canned goods. A large 42" undermount sink spans the breadth of the window that overlooks the canyon beyond. A mirrored hutch balances the side where new French doors open out onto a herb garden. A dry bar matches the cabinetry and increases the space in the grand great room.

The renovation of this kitchen gave the homeowners a space that is refreshingly lighter and brighter: from dark cherry cabinets to rift cut white oak cabinets, from black granite to Taj Mahal quartzite countertops. Now practical in its flow, our kitchen design dramatically improved the functionality of the space as well as the amount of storage. All the cabinets in this kitchen and dining room renovation are Grabill Custom Cabinetry: rift cut white oak with seaspray glaze. The sparkling quartzite countertops are Taj Mahal, and the backsplash from Thomas Brick is called Windrift. The appliances are from Sub-Zero Wolf.

This Kitchen was designed by Nicole in our Windham showroom. This kitchen remodel features Cabico Essence Cabinets with Maple wood Tobio door style (recessed panel) and Mexico (dark brown) stain finish. This remodel also features LG Viatera quartz countertop with Aria color and standard edge. The floor is an Alterna 12x 24 blanched mists from their Historical District collection. Their backsplash is 3 x12 mist from their element collection with lighter pewter grout color. Other features include Kohler stainless steel sink and faucet and Amerock stainless steel bar handles.

This 1st place winner of Tedd-Wood Cabinetry's National 2020 "Picture Perfect" Contest transitional category, Designed by Jennifer Jacob is in the "Stockton" door style in both Maple wood "White Opaque" and Cherry wood with "Morning Mist" and a light brushed black glaze. The counter tops are "Taj Mahal" quartzite, The back splash made by Sonoma tiles is "Stellar Trestle in Hidden Cove.​" The flooring is Duchateau "Vernal Lugano"

The older couple needed a kitchenette to be on the same level as their bedroom. Their large house has three levels, making it a long difficult trek for the couple with health issues. Originally housing a billiard table, this room was converted to house a small kitchenette. A single burner induction cooktop is perfect for them to make their breakfast.
