This future rental property has been completely refurbished with a newly constructed extension. Bespoke joinery, lighting design and colour scheme were carefully thought out to create a sense of space and elegant simplicity to appeal to a wide range of future tenants. Designed for entertaining and family gatherings, the open floor plan connects the different levels of the home to outdoor living spaces. A private patio to the side of the home is connected to both levels by a mid-level entrance on the stairway. This access to the private outdoor living area provides a step outside of the traditional condominium lifestyle into a new desirable, high-end stand-alone condominium.

In this kitchen, Waypoint Living Spaces 66R cabinetry in Painted Linen finish were installed with a Carrara Grigio quartz countertop. The backsplash is 3 x 12 Anatolia Marlow irregular subway tile. A Moen spot resist stainless Arbor faucet with a pull-down spray and a Transolid Meridian 60/40 undermount sink was installed. Mannington Century Pumice 18 x 18 LVT was installed on the floor.

We are so excited to share with you this beautiful kitchen remodel in Lakeville, MN. Our clients came to us wanting to take out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room. By taking out the wall, we were able to create a new larger kitchen! We kept the sink in the same location, and then moved the stove to the same wall as the sink. The fridge was moved to the far wall, we added an oven/micro combinations and a large pantry. We even had some extra room to create a desk space. The coolest thing about this kitchen is the DOUBLE island! The island closest to the sink functions as a working island and the other is for entertaining with seating for guests. What really shines here is the combination of color that creates such a beautiful subtle elegance. The warm gray color of the cabinets were paired with the brown stained cabinets on the island. We then selected darker honed granite countertops on the perimeter cabinets and a light gray quartz countertop for the islands. The slightly marbled backsplash helps to tie everything in and give such a richness to the whole kitchen. I love adding little pops throughout the kitchen, so matte black hardware and the matte black sink light are perfect! We are so happy with the final result of this kitchen! At our Winter Sun project, the house was very Tuscan Old World, and our homeowners were wanting a change from all the dark colors. We updated the kitchen, master bathroom and the powder room but kept existing travertine flooring. In the kitchen, we have white painted cabinets on the perimeter, grey painted cabinets for the island with marble looking quartz and grey subway backsplash laid in a herringbone pattern. To add texture, we designed a drywall hood to really make a statement.

Homeowner did a complete overhaul remodel of their home, after the area surrounding it was devastated by a straight-line winds & a tornado. Their contractor custom-made the island top, wood hood and farm sink base out of the downed trees from their property.
