This tiny kitchen was barely usable by a busy mom with 3 young kids. We were able to remove two walls and open the kitchen into an unused space of the home and make this the focal point of the home the clients had always dreamed of! Hidden on the back side of this peninsula are 3 cubbies, one for each child to store their backpacks and lunch boxes for school. The fourth cubby contains a charging station for the families electronics.

St. George's Terrace is our luxurious renovation of a grand, Grade II Listed garden apartment in the centre of Primrose Hill village, North London. Meticulously renovated after 40 years in the same hands, we reinstated the grand salon, kitchen and dining room - added a Crittall style breakfast room, and dug out additional space at basement level to form a third bedroom and second bathroom.

The new floor plan design made more effective use of the space, accommodating multiple renovation needs into the kitchen. The new layout created an open galley kitchen with a 13 1/2′ Island with seating at each end, a cool-grey custom banquette with 2 tables.

Lisa Konz Photography This was such a fun project working with these clients who wanted to take an old school, traditional lake house and update it. We moved the kitchen from the previous location to the breakfast area to create a more open space floor plan. We also added ship lap strategically to some feature walls and columns. The color palette we went with was navy, black, tan and cream. The decorative and central feature of the kitchen tile and family room rug really drove the direction of this project. With plenty of light once we moved the kitchen and white walls, we were able to go with dramatic black cabinets. The solid brass pulls added a little drama, but the light reclaimed open shelves and cross detail on the island kept it from getting too fussy and clean white Quartz countertops keep the kitchen from feeling too dark. There previously wasn't a fireplace so added one for cozy winter lake days with a herringbone tile surround and reclaimed beam mantle. To ensure this family friendly lake house can withstand the traffic, we added sunbrella slipcovers to all the upholstery in the family room. The back screened porch overlooks the lake and dock and is ready for an abundance of extended family and friends to enjoy this beautiful updated and classic lake home.

In this kitchen, Waypoint Living Spaces 66R cabinetry in Painted Linen finish were installed with a Carrara Grigio quartz countertop. The backsplash is 3 x 12 Anatolia Marlow irregular subway tile. A Moen spot resist stainless Arbor faucet with a pull-down spray and a Transolid Meridian 60/40 undermount sink was installed. Mannington Century Pumice 18 x 18 LVT was installed on the floor.

The homeowner's had been living with inefficient and worn-out cabinetry in their 1970's ranch. They had remodeled other spaces in their home and were now ready to take on their kitchen remodel themselves. We found cabinetry that was well made and within their budget and developed a plan for the stages of their remodel. Appliances, lighting and fixtures remained in their original location. The cabinetry was fitted with robust storage solutions to organize everything in a functional layout. The vinyl flooring was replaced with beautiful hardwood. The Linear Kitchen flows from the open lounge dining area to include a butlers pantry the to the laundry and seamlessly into the storage area designed for shoes school bags and sporting equipment. Clever Storage .. Pivot doors hide the kitchen appliances and breakfast bar and open up as needed. The doors fit neatly back into the joinery.
