After removing the soffits, island and old cabinets, we were able to install all new beautiful java shaker style cabinets, a Grey Glazed Brick backsplash in a herringbone pattern and create a new rectangular island where we patched in the existing Aequa Cirrus wood look tile for a seamless finish. The perimeter cabinets are topped with Bianco Montana Granite and the large new island is topped with a beautiful Bianco Romano Supreme Granite. Finally, the fixtures complete this kitchen with the stunning new Park Harbor “Hillpoint” Linear Pendant, Black Stainless Steel wall mount range hood, Café Brown “Grandis” single bowl sink and the Stainless Steel pull out spray Kitchen faucet!

This gorgeous kitchen boasts Burnt Hickory lower perimeter cabinetry and contrasting painted maple uppers, complimented by honed quartz countertops and a beautiful blue subway tile for a touch of color. This home is ADA compliant featuring wheelchair access under the sinks, as well as having no thresholds between doorways. The shower is also wheelchair friendly having no door and a wide turning arc.

Designed by Catherine Neitzey of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Fredericksburg, VA in collaboration with Joe Cristifulli and Cristifulli Custom Homes, this kitchen remodeling project features a transitional modern cottage style inspired kitchen design with Merillat Masterpiece Cabinetry in the door style Martel in Maple with Painted Bonsai finish. The kitchen countertops are Emerstone Quartz Alabaster Gold with a Kohler Whitehaven sink. “Being part of creating this warm, texture rich, open kitchen was such a pleasure. The artist homeowner had an amazing vision from the beginning to launch the design work,” said Cat. “Starting with her watercolor thumbnails, we met repeatedly before the walls started coming out to set the floor plan. Working with a supportive general contractor, the space transformed from 1978 to a modern showplace with nods to craftsman cottage style.” “The muted green tone is a great backdrop for the lake views the home offers. We settled on an island design, adding storage without taking wall space away. The homeowner took such care with each decision to pull off integration of fresh, clean, lined modern elements, mixed metals, reclaimed woods and antiques. The layered textures bringing warmth to the space is something I hope to take with me for future projects!” In addition to the kitchen, the bathroom was remodeled as well. It includes a Merillat Classic vanity cabinet in the Glenrock door style with 5-piece drawer front in the Boardwalk finish and a Virginia Marble cultured marble wave bowl vanity top in the color Bright White. Big changes for these clients cozy bi level home. Taking what was once 3 separate smaller rooms and removing all the walls to create an open first floor was the first step. Nothing a big structural beam can’t handle. We changed what was a dining room window into a sliding door to the future back patio letting in lots more light. Now for the new kitchen design and finishes to bring to life this new space. Echelon cabinetry in the Addison door with linen finish paired with a contrasting island in Mocha finish were chosen for the new kitchen. For looks combined with excellent durability and cost; Adura Luxury Vinyl snap lock floating floors were the best choice for this space and it looks awesome. My favorite design choice for this project is the brick tile accent wall; I love it. The tones of the brick compliment all the other selections, it suits the area with West Chester’s brick sidewalks and homes, and it makes the space. This project was truly a 100% change that came out 100% great. The clients can’t wait to enjoy their new space.

This was a kitchen remodel for a family that wanted a transitional style kitchen with plenty of storage and places for the kids to eat and/or do their schoolwork. We brought in some rustic elements such as the wood backsplash and shelves along with the wooden and metal stools. Stainless steel appliances, chrome electrical and plumbing fixtures in addition to the hardware were brought in for a modern touch. To add a classic look to the design, we included brown Shaker cabinets, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash and porcelain floors. We incorporated a built-in buffet area with a pantry on each side to address their storage needs as well as stools at the island, a small dining table and a bench in the eating area for the kids to sit at.
