Au cœur de la place du Pin à Nice, cet appartement autrefois sombre et délabré a été métamorphosé pour faire entrer la lumière naturelle. Nous avons souhaité créer une architecture à la fois épurée, intimiste et chaleureuse. Face à son état de décrépitude, une rénovation en profondeur s’imposait, englobant la refonte complète du plancher et des travaux de réfection structurale de grande envergure. L’une des transformations fortes a été la dépose de la cloison qui séparait autrefois le salon de l’ancienne chambre, afin de créer un double séjour. D’un côté une cuisine en bois au design minimaliste s’associe harmonieusement à une banquette cintrée, qui elle, vient englober une partie de la table à manger, en référence à la restauration. De l’autre côté, l’espace salon a été peint dans un blanc chaud, créant une atmosphère pure et une simplicité dépouillée. L’ensemble de ce double séjour est orné de corniches et une cimaise partiellement cintrée encadre un miroir, faisant de cet espace le cœur de l’appartement. L’entrée, cloisonnée par de la menuiserie, se détache visuellement du double séjour. Dans l’ancien cellier, une salle de douche a été conçue, avec des matériaux naturels et intemporels. Dans les deux chambres, l’ambiance est apaisante avec ses lignes droites, la menuiserie en chêne et les rideaux sortants du plafond agrandissent visuellement l’espace, renforçant la sensation d’ouverture et le côté épuré.

A simple but beautifully symmetrical layout for this lovely open plan living extension in Petts Wood. The addition of the large kitchen island provides plenty of additional storage, work surface and seating space. The shaker style kitchen units have been painted in Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath and Charleston Grey and finished with stainless steel cup handles and knobs. The colour scheme and Global Apollo quartz stone worktops follow through into the utility room.

The goal for this project, as with many kitchens, was to create a more open, inviting and functional space for family to gather and socialize. The challenge that the partially hexagonal space created was however quite unique. Ample functional storage was “a must,” so pull-outs, roll-outs and hidden storage was integrated throughout. Walnut veneered interiors and solid walnut drawer boxes provide a rich finished aesthetic, and tie the tone back to the refinished flooring on the main level. While grey has been all the rage, the custom Grey Stone stain over Alder is anything but ordinary.

A show-stopping full-height Lunada Bay tile backsplash was designed into the space to create a stunning focal point, complemented by a chimney-style stainless steel hood. Walnut, wide plank hardwood flooring was chosen purposely, offering warmth and depth and creating a perfect contrast to the white cabinetry, while also blending beautifully with the couple’s treasured antique furniture. In addition, striking Calacatta Laza Quartz countertops were designed into the space to complete the look. A multi-level island was replaced with a single-level Cherry wood wrapped island with plenty of seating for family and friends, and made suitable for entertaining. Other highlights include disguised appliance panels, which seamlessly integrated the appliances into the kitchen, and custom storage solutions for the couple’s Kitchen Aid mixer, as well as other kitchen essentials.

Studio 76 Kitchens & Baths' designer completed this transitional kitchen remodel in white, gray and greige colors. The kitchen features Studio 76 Home frameless cabinetry in white and gray. The appliances are Sub-Zero and Wolf. And the kitchen sink is The Galley Workstation and Zip Hydrotap. The kitchen pull out step stool is from Hideaway Solutions

This silver and black kitchenette is a part of the master bedroom suite. It serves its primary purpose, as well as additional storage as the front of the island has been designed as a dresser. The back of the island has an overhang under which a pair of counter stools are placed.

Para esta cocina hemos diseñado una espectacular encimera que nos permite tener espacio para trabajar, leer, cocinar...el color verde del porcelanico Emerald de @porcelanosa ha creado un espacio elegante, atráctivo y contemporáneo, no nos puede gustar más su acabado. No nos podemos olvidar de las molduras de Orac Decor que siempre nos ayudan tanto a definir los espacios y a crear los detalles, en este caso enmarcando cada uno de los cajones ocultos de la cocina.
