Across from the craft area we built a custom 30" deep desk with stained pecan top, central trash bin pull out, file storage on either side, and concealed wire storage cabinet with an easy access panel. Greg Hadley Photography The graphic artist client initially considered a basement studio. Our designer thought the attic would provide an ideal space. To bring in natural light, we added four skylights in the attic—two operable for venting and two fixed. We used spray foam insulation to create a comfortable environment. The combination light and fan in the center is both beautiful and functional. The HVAC equipment is located behind a door, and there additional storage behind the knee walls. We built a seat under the dormer window where the client’s dog likes to perch.

Built-ins and floating shelves provide an opportunity to group objects that personalize the home in an organized way and the interior design firm is known for incorporating at least one vintage piece per room.

Gorgeous blues, reds, and greys make a statement in this Buckhead renovation, leaving our clients with an updated home with plenty of character! We wanted to keep the design cohesive, which is why we incorporated similar color schemes throughout while playing with the saturation and hues, and preventing the home from looking monotonous or overpowered by color. We upgraded all of the client's furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting, and window treatments as well as installed new hardwood floors. The new floors paired with the newly painted walls and warm-colored textiles, came together beautifully, offering our clients a timeless design. Home located in Buckhead, Atlanta. The best of the past and present meet in this distinguished design. Custom craftsmanship and distinctive detailing give this lakefront residence its vintage flavor while an open and light-filled floor plan clearly mark it as contemporary. With its interesting shingled roof lines, abundant windows with decorative brackets and welcoming porch, the exterior takes in surrounding views while the interior meets and exceeds contemporary expectations of ease and comfort. The main level features almost 3,000 square feet of open living, from the charming entry with multiple window seats and built-in benches to the central 15 by 22-foot kitchen, 22 by 18-foot living room with fireplace and adjacent dining and a relaxing, almost 300-square-foot screened-in porch. Nearby is a private sitting room and a 14 by 15-foot master bedroom with built-ins and a spa-style double-sink bath with a beautiful barrel-vaulted ceiling. The main level also includes a work room and first floor laundry, while the 2,165-square-foot second level includes three bedroom suites, a loft and a separate 966-square-foot guest quarters with private living area, kitchen and bedroom. Rounding out the offerings is the 1,960-square-foot lower level, where you can rest and recuperate in the sauna after a workout in your nearby exercise room. 256 sq ft. addition on the back of the house. The addition entailed an expanded nook, office space, a second laundry room, second refrigerator, and an outdoor bathroom. Added amenities work conveniently with the beautiful new 17 X 20 Pavilion of outdoor living space with a grill and dining area.
